Atlanta's crime wave hit close to home for Chris "Ludacris” Bridges. The rap mogul's black Mercedes-Benz was stolen when he stopped at the ATM on Monday, 11 Alive News reports.

The Atlanta-based rapper flagged down a police cruiser around 4:40 p.m. after his car was stolen when he left it running while he stopped at the ATM.

He said he heard his car speed away while he was at the ATM and did not get a good look at the suspect.

Police used the car's electronic tracking device to locate an area off Lois Place where the car was driven. Some of the rapper's personal belongings were found discarded there but the car was gone.

Police continued to track the vehicle to a parking garage at 1270 Spring Street in Midtown Atlanta. An apartment complex called Spectrum shares the parking garage.

Police said the car was unoccupied and they returned the vehicle to Ludacris.

99 cars were stolen in the first week of January 2021 in Atlanta, according to 11 Alive News Of those, 76 cars had the keys inside -- or were running.

Netflix

Netflix has ordered an animated musical kids series executive produced by actor-rapper Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges.

The musical kids series, titled "Karma's World," was inspired by Bridges' eldest daughter, 19-year-old Karma, and her educational website.

The series follows a fictional character, 10-year-old Karma Grant, who is described as "an aspiring musical artist and rapper with big talent and an even bigger heart."

The series will feature original music that tackles issues that affect young Black girls, including "Self-esteem, body positivity, discrimination, creativity, expressing emotions, friendship, family, leadership, celebrating differences and more," according to Netflix.

Bridges, pictured with Karma in 2007, said the project was a long time in the making, and he hopes to leave a legacy for his daughters.

"I've had a lot of accomplishments in my life, but everything that I've experienced seems to have led up to this point to where I can leave a legacy for all my daughters," Bridges said in a statement.

This project has been a long time in the making and I can't wait to bring Karma's World to the entire world."

Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris -- who previously teamed up for the 2004 hit song "Yeah!" - have reunited for a new slow jam "SexBeat."

The track opens with Lil Jon setting the mood and Ludacris rapping about his exploits in the bedroom. Then Usher croons: "Sex beat/When I get in that room and the bass go boom/Something about the way it make me move."

"When Usher, Jon and Luda come together it's always amazing," Usher tells Beats 1's Zane Lowe.

"No matter what Jon is doing, no matter where Ludacris is, no matter who I am, or where I'm going, or what type of music I'm introducing, when we come together, we go back to the center, like the orbit of who we all are as artists at our best. Usher, Jon and Luda had to do it again. You know? It's time."

Usher added: "We, by the way, have been sitting on this song for about two years. So as great as that one song is, please know that two years ago this record was done."
