Reality TV star and R&B singer Tamar Braxton is finally unloading her and husband Vincent Herbert‘s high maintenance Calabasas, Calif. mansion.
Page Six notes that the couple listed their luxurious Mediterranean style manse for a whopping $15 million.
Tamar and Vince purchased the 13,716-square-foot, 7 bedroom house for $10.5 million in 2013.
The reasons for the sale are most likely financial. Tamar and Vince have been burdened with massive debt for years. A judge recently ordered the portly music executive to pay Sony more than $3.7 million to settle a lawsuit over an advance that the record company loaned him.
Additionally, public records shows Tamar and Vince have fallen behind on their mortgage numerous times over the years. Their mortgage lender filed (and retracted) multiple notices of default threatening to take the house.
Then there are the rumors that Tamar cheated on Vince with a television executive linked to TV mogul Steve Harvey, who promised Tamar her own TV talk show which never materialized.
The well-appointed home boasts 9 full baths and 2 half baths, a man cave with authentic barber chair, a hair salon, stone-paved loggia overlooking the Olympic sized pool with canvas shade awnings and a dining table that easily seats 24, a home theater, recording studio, a mirror-walled gym and a subterranean (underground) parking garage that can accommodate over a dozen cars.
Neighbors in the exclusive, guard-gated Estates at The Oaks enclave include Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and TV therapist Dr. Phil‘s son Jay MGraw.
