Actress Tiffany Haddish, pictured left, failed badly at matchmaking when she tried to set Mary J Blige up with her own bodyguard.
The hapless comedienne tried to set Mary up with the R&B singer’s security guard at DJ Khaled‘s recent birthday bash. It was only her second time meeting Mary.
via WENN.com — Tiffany had previously hit it off with Mary during a gathering at her Girls Trip co-star Queen Latifah’s house last year, and she made a beeline for the “No More Drama” hitmaker when their paths crossed again at Khaled’s belated birthday event, suggesting they work the room together to find new love interests.
“(I told her), ‘You single, I’m single, all these men at this party, we could pick anything we want, right?’,” Tiffany said on Good Morning America. “She was like, ‘I don’t see why not!’.”
However, her first attempt at scoring a date for Mary didn’t go too well: “I was like, ‘Ooh, look at him right there,'” she continued. “I introduced myself to him, gave him a little curtsy, I was like, ‘You fine, you beefy…’ and I said, ‘Mary! Ain’t he fine, ain’t he beefy?’ and she was like, ‘Girl, that’s my security!’ I looked at her and was like, ‘Well, what days do he have off?'”
