This is Kocky K. He doesn’t have a record deal yet, but that doesn’t matter because in his mind, he’s ballin’. Remember the days when rappers started out hungry and appreciated any love we showed them by supporting their music? Then when they made it big they bought homes for their moms and gave back to their old neighborhood?
Well, those days are long gone. The time honored tradition of working hard toward your goals doesn’t mean a thing to these guys. Nowadays, every rapper is ballin’ and flossin’ before he even signs a record deal. They go from riches to rags when it should be the other way around. When they finally do “make it” they don’t appreciate the fans who got them there unless they’re on their knees in a hotel room.
This is why Hip Hop is dead because of all this fake posturing and stuntin’. This is also the reason why entertainers like Young Buck and Ron Isley end up owing the IRS millions.
Oh, you think because you’re paid cash for nightclub appearances and don’t report any of it to the IRS that they won’t know? You thought wrong!
Here’s what the IRS does: they watch you and they calculate your net worth by adding up the retail value of all those luxury vehicles they see you driving, the homes you say are yours, the cash that you flash and toss up in the clubs, and the bling you wear on your neck and wrist. Then they present you with a fat tax bill!
Oh, you say the cars aren’t yours – they’re leased? And the homes are too? And the diamond bling is fake? And the hundreds you’re tossing in the clubs are counterfeit?
Tell it to Uncle Sam because nobody cares anymore.
