Harvey Weinstein was assaulted by a fellow diner at a Scottsdale, Arizona restaurant. Weinstein and a friend were leaving a restaurant when a man named “Steve” approached him and asked for a Selfie but was turned down, according to TMZ.
Weinstein fell from grace after dozens of women came forward to accuse him of sexual harassment.
In video obtained by TMZ, as Weinstein walked away, Steve back-hand slapped him twice, saying “Get your a– out of here. You’re a f-cking piece of sh-t!”
Social media users praised Steve for slapping Weinstein, but others say Weinstein should have called the police after Steve assaulted him.
The restaurant manager said Weinstein was actually pleasant to Steve before he was assaulted.
