Actor Michael B. Jordan has been selected as the first-ever global brand ambassador for Coach menswear collection.
The Black Panther star will also appear in advertisements for Coach footwear, accessories, and fragrance.
The first images from the spring 2019 line dropped on Wednesday, Jan. 2, with the main photo showing Michael sitting on a vintage car at a “faded carnival” while posing in leather trousers, a black leather jacket, and a Rivington Backpack In Signature Canvas — all by Coach.
Another PR image shows the 31-year-old sporting a blue leather jacket with color coordinated trousers and boots, while a third photo depicts him leaning on a vehicle in a colorblock shearling jacket and loose-fit black trousers.
The items can be purchased online here.
“I’m proud to be the face of Coach men’s,” Jordan said in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of Coach for a long time and truly respect their inclusive and optimistic values.”
The campaign also features the new season’s hero bags, including the Signature Rivington Backpack, the Rivington Belt Bag, and the Metropolitan Carryall.
The campaign was shot by photographer Craig McDean, while Jane How styled him, according to WENN.com.
