2 Chainz dropped his music video for “Expensify This”, featuring “Parks and Recreation” actor Adam Scott.
The part animation video is the world’s first music video you can expense by snapping photos of the receipts/price tags in the video.
The expense management platform will also air a spot featuring 2 Chainz and Scott during the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb 3.
“I’ve always wanted to be in a hip-hop video and a Super Bowl commercial, so mission accomplished,” said Scott.
In the music video, 2 Chainz nods off and begins to snore as Scott, who plays the head of finance for a record label, reminds the rapper to remember to save his music video receipts for filing expenses.
Viewers can also save their receipts and even win cash by snapping a photo of the price tags in the music video and Super Bowl commercial and uploading the pics to the Expensify app.
How to expense this music video:
1. Download the Expensify app.
2. Set video quality to 1080 HD, full screen.
3. Find price tags in the video, pause when the receipt/tag is clear.
4. Snap a photo of the receipt/tag using Expensify for the chance to get reimbursed with actual cash.
David Barnett, founder and CEO of Expensify said the music video shows all the things you can do to save time on your expenses with Expensify.
“I built Expensify to take away the mundane drudgery so you can do what you were born to do,” Barnett said. “That might be spending more time with your kids, traveling to foreign countries, trying to make the world a better place, or in 2 Chainz’s case, making the most epic music video ever.”
