Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine pled guilty to 9 felony counts, including paying $10,000 for someone to shoot at rival rapper Chief Keef “to scare him.”

According to TMZ, Tekashi69 accepted a plea deal with the federal government on Jan. 23.

Court records, unsealed on Friday, showed that the 22-year-old rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, pled guilty to federal charges of racketeering, firearms violations, conspiracy to commit murder, and narcotics trafficking, according to TMZ.

Tekashi gave prosecutors the name of the gang member he hired to shoot at rival rapper Chief Keef “to scare him.” The shooter is still on the run.

According to a transcript of the hearing in front of a judge on Jan. 23, Tekashi detailed his involvement in the street gang Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods and his role in the shooting of Keef.

“On or about June 2, 2018, in furtherance of Nine Trey, of the Nine Trey enterprise, I paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him. The shooting took place in Manhattan. I did this to maintain or increase my own standing in Nine Trey.”

He continued: “In furtherance of this shooting, I knew that a member of Nine Trey discharged a gun. On or about March 20, 2018, I helped members of Nine Trey attempt to kill a rival gang member.”

Tekashi added that he participated in an armed robbery in April and he sold a kilo of heroin in 2017.

The rapper also discussed his alleged dealings in illegal drugs like heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy and marijuana.

His cooperation led to the indictments of three former Trey Way gang members this week.

Tekashi’s plea deal with the government includes a prison sentence of 47 years, according to Instagram blogger @Akademiks.

The rapper was facing life in prison but the life sentence is now off the table.

Tekashi’s murder trial which was scheduled for September 2019 is now canceled.

He is expected to remain in a secure federal correctional facility in Queens, NY until his sentencing hearing in January 2020.
