A mom taking her son to a fast food restaurant for a snack recorded an all out brawl at a Burger King location in Charlotte, NC this week.
Rebecca Ramsey says she pulled up to the drive-through window at the Burger King on Nation’s Ford Road on Sunday night to get her 6-year-old an ice cream cone.
She was surprised to see two male workers fighting inside the restaurant while a female manager tried to break them up. Ramsey honked her car horn, but the combatants continued fighting.
At one point, another worker began recording the scene on her cell phone when she spotted Ramsey. The female worker screamed at Ramsey to stop recording.
The public was understandably shocked at the unprofessional behavior of the workers.
“You would think that these are people who are employees and are supposed to act professional, especially when children come through the drive-through and everything,” a customer told NBC Charlotte on Tuesday.
Burger King issued a statement after the video went viral this week.
“The behavior demonstrated on the video does not reflect our brand values and is unacceptable. As soon as the owner of this location was made aware of this incident, the franchise owner terminated the team members who were involved. In addition, the owner will have all employees complete supplementary guest experience training.”
