I saw the orginal uncut version before the special effects were added. Beyonce messed up a few dance steps thats why the effects were added to those particular spots in the video. I like the energy of the video and the dance moves are classic Bey. She can ‘does’ it like no other artist in the dance-singing-performance catagory.
I do think the lyrics to the song could have been better. She has a ring why is she telling other women. If he like it he would have put a ring on it. Then proceeds to display her ring at the end of the video. To me thats saying I am better than all of you because he put a ring on it. Just analyzing the video (marriage is over rated anyway)

She looks very pretty and kills the dance moves, but I’m not feeling the whole video just being dancing. It has nothing to do with the lyrics. Although it’s different for someone to do this type of video I just pictured it being different with it actually capturing the lyrics and story line.

@terika83—– I too have a confession… I will be infront of my T.V. trying to learn those dance moves. The dancing is a mixture of era’s. She is J-Setting too.. It takes alot energy and skill to dance like that for an entire video and keep the attention of the audiance. I know she will kill it live as ususal.

You know what’s funny?…I was a die hard Bey fan when she first came out. Granted I was 17 and still in high school…Fast forward I am now 28yrs. old and I feel like she is still 17 mentally. She didn’t grow with me. I outgrew her in a major way. I’m married, college educated with a couple of kids and I look at her like “what are you thinking?’.Get up off the floor and keep ur legs close. I like Beyonce but I can’t take her STANS, I mean FANS. This girl at work asked me if I liked her 2 new singles that are out now and I told her I only heard “If I Was A Boy” and I don’t like it, it does nothing for me. Oh my goodness, why did I tell her that? The way she acted and carried on some kinda tangent was as if I had told her that I planned on kidnapping Bee and killing her so we never have to hear her voice again. I mean I just don’t like the song, relax, its not that serious. It’s not like me not liking the song is gonna kill her career anyway, LOL.
