Chris Brown stopped by BET 106 & Park yesterday and apologized — sort of — for breaking a fortified window in his dressing room at the ‘Good Morning America‘ studio earlier this week.

“First and foremost I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really looked disappointed in my actions because I was disappointed in the way I acted,” he told co-hosts Rocsi and Terrence J.

On Tuesday, Brown was interviewed by GMA co-host Robin Roberts who asked him about the restraining order that his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna lifted last month. Roberts, who was a guest at Brown’s home last year, was only following up by asking him questions that any real journalist would have asked. She said she discussed the questions with him before the segment and that Brown agreed to the questions.

But Brown basically called Roberts a liar, saying:

“A lot of people don’t know what went down. Obviously when I do shows and when I do interviews, we always send out a talking points sheet. And if the network isn’t compliant with what we want to do, we usually kind of [black out and throw chairs] and wait until it’s a better situation.”

Unfortunately for Chris Brown, the world isn’t a fantasy land of yes people and “better situations.” In the real world, people are always going to ask him questions about Rihanna. There is no way to avoid those types of questions especially if he wants to promote his album on a major network.

At least he acknowledged that he still doesn’t have a handle on his anger issues that continue to plague him despite his completing an anger management course. Hopefully the judge who is overseeing his probation is paying attention.
