Just days after shocking photos of a stricken and pale Beyoncé surfaced online, comes word that she has fired her dad, Matthew Knowles, as her manager.
Most of us thought she fired him already. But, according to Bey’s longtime publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, the termination is for real this time.
The news comes a year after scandalous reports of Matthew’s infidelity, money laundering and drug abuse hit the blogs. In addition to Beyoncé, her sister Solange and their half-sister, Kelly Rowland, Knowles is also the daddy of a 1-year-old boy by actress Alexsandra Wright (“Scrubs”).
Matthew released a prepared statement last night complete with shameless self-promotion, which I have deleted since no one cares:
The decision for Beyoncé and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment.
In Music World’s repositioning it will not continue its label/management role with Columbia/Sony artist Tiffany Evans.
Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.
Maybe now Beyoncé can get her stalled career back on track?

At the end of the day, Mathew Knowles worked his a$$ off and sacrificed a lot to make his daughter one of the most famous women in the world. He used, abused and took advantage of a LOT of people to do so, but it’s done.
Now maybe her new management will allow her to become a woman on her own instead of a prototype who barely utters a sentence that isn’t prepared.
Now, maybe she’ll be able to acknowledge Janet again since she gushed that she was her main inspiration in the beginning and then when she became huge, she doesn’t even say Janet’s name. Now, maybe she’ll woman up and apologize to Kelly, Latavia & LeToya (not Michelle, because with that voice, she should be grateful to sing at a Piggly Wiggly opening) – MAYBE… she’ll give Latavia a job singing background…
Maybe she’ll be honest and admit that they put Tavia and Toya out of the group every time Pam, a CPA and Letoya’s mama asked to see them books.

@Carrington, I agree with you even though I give Matthew a side eye for his tactics he is the only reason Bee is a superstar. Yeah she is talented but there are a lot of chicks that are talented and have star power, but unfortunately they don’t have a daddy with a strong PIMP hand. As far as this story goes, bleh- I just know Bey season is coming up because her team goes in overdrive with stories like this when she is about to come out with an album.

Jay Z I pray she doesn’t allow him to be her new manager. I think firing Matthew was a big mistake. He is the reason she is a stand out star and not another C-Error… Maybe I should’ve said someone who could actually sing but you get my point. Jay is an artist and he will always put himself first. Her daddy has always nurtured her career and made sure she got nominations for Oscars even when she didn’t deserve it. I am #teambey and will support her but I hope she doesn’t mix business with pleasure.

I don’t mind her eyebrows. Not everyone wants them so thin they make you look surprised. What is suppose to be done w/dyed hair is to use a new toothbrush and brush the dye on the eyebrows so they are the same color as the hair on her head. I live in the Midwest I only see little old ladies who arch the eye so much they have to draw them back on.
