I agree with him, think this whole image problem could be changed with a reduction in starting salaries. If they would just increase pay based on perfromance and moral turpitude, they would not start off acting so silliy and end up going downhill so fast on such a slippery slope.

Mel – not talking about endorsement pay, there should be a grandfather clause on endorsements though. I’m talking about plucking a young man out of college and offering him millions before he has proven he is worth it. They just don’t get a sense of needing to play well and keep their noses clean.
