Singer Ashanti recently tweeted her plans to release her fifth studio album on her own label (Written Entertainment). Her last album, 2008’s The Declaration, spawned the singles “The Way That I Love You”, “Good Good” and “Body On Me” featuring Nelly and Akon. The Declaration sold 89K n the first week and has yet to go gold.

Yesterday, Ashanti, 30, released her album artwork for the as yet untitled project. Ashanti luxuriates on a beach wearing a parachute dress and her weave upswept in a dookie braid bun. She looks beautiful. Ashanti is doing a great job keeping herself relevant.
