According to TMZ.com, rapper Rick Ross suffered a seizure while on board a flight from Ft. Lauderdale bound for Memphis, Tenn. Reportedly, Ross fell unconscious just minutes into the flight and a doctor who was on board performed CPR on him. The plane was forced to turn around and make an emergency landing in Ft. Lauderdale. TMZ says Ross is unconscious and paramedics are “desperately trying to resuscitate him.”
Ross is currently on a gurney at the airport. after emergency workers responded to a call at 12:55 PM ET. The caller reported a seizure.

TMZ has learned … Rick Ross’ private jet made an emergency landing in Birmingham, Alabama, 2 hours ago, en route to his concert in Memphis … and we found out he suffered another seizure. Rick is currently in a Birmingham hospital emergency room where he is reported to be in stable condition. Rick was supposed to be on stage in Memphis at 7:30 PM ET.

TMZ reports that Rick Ross — who’s still in the hospital — is telling people he still plans to perform tonight in Memphis at FedExForum.

An industry source just told us someone in Ross’ camp is tweeting from his Twitter account. The source said Ross is in the hospital. TMZ also reported that Ross is in the hospital under close supervision.

And if he did go into cardiac or respiratory arrest, how could he bounce back that quickly and be tweeting? Usually you go to ICU if your breathing or your heart stops. And they don’t allow cell phones in ICU because it interferes with the equipment. So somebody in his camp is lying.

Don’t be so hard on yourself it’s hard to stop something that has been ingrained in us since we were kids. I did the BC 2yrs ago. And was real adamant against relaxing however, there are a lot of things to consider. non relaxed hair is a lot of work too…plus natural hair is still meeting with a lot of resistance…I interview for a job with my TWA with a another black woman and i swear she had a problem with it. She stared at it the whole time. So the decision not to relax can be a big one. So don’t be down just because you haven’t decided yet… You’ll do what’s best for you.

Auntie, zmt is reporting that he just had another seizure on another plane (private jet) and they had to turn the plane around for emergency landing.
He had the 2nd seizure less than an hour after being released from the hospital.

Good question. I guess it depends on the type of seizures he’s experiencing. There are some seizures that require no treatment.

I live in Birmingham and I’m at UAB where my aunt works and he is one of her patients. She said that he’s a sick man and she doesn’t know why he is taking this so lightly.
Also he’s receiving top notch care and the very best physicians are attending to him. He’s alert.
he needs some phenobaryl (not spelled correctly) and some milkweed daily along with some rest. my weimaraner had 3 grand mahls in a row within 24 hours a few years ago. he’s fine now but he took phenobaryl for two years before the vet took him off. seizures are scary. rick needs to stop worrying about whatever it is he is concerned about.
