Yesterday we asked what would become of Penn State receivers coach Mike McQueary who, in 2002, stumbled upon 57-year-old former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky raping a 10-year-old boy in the team shower.
McQueary, who was 28 at the time, immediately fled the area. But instead of calling the cops, he called his daddy. They didn’t notify coach Joe Paterno about the incident until the next day.
McQueary, whose father was good friends with Paterno, was named receivers coach for Penn State a short time later — presumably in return for his silence.
On Wednesday, Joe Paterno, 84, was fired for ignoring his moral obligation to the child, and for assisting in covering up the heinous crime for 9 years.
But McQueary was allowed to keep his job even though he did nothing to stop the attack on the little boy.
Yesterday, Penn State announced McQueary will not be on the sidelines when Penn State takes on Nebraska in its final game on Saturday. School officials cited threats made against McQueary’s life as the reason.
According to TMZ, the university released a statement reading:
“Due to multiple threats made against assistant coach Mike McQueary, the university has decided it would be in the best interest of all for assistant coach McQueary not to be in attendance at Saturday’s Nebraska game.”
But the threats weren’t made by angry parents, they were made by the same unruly students who trashed the school hours after Paterno’s firing was announced.
Does anyone at Penn State have any morals?
Well according to TMZ, Penn state coaches asked the players to have their friends and families wear white to support Joe Paterno while supporters of the victims were asked to wear baby blue. This is just a big mess all around.

I find it absolutely sickening…they should fire all the staff that knew about it — especially this McQuery guy. How do you witness a child being raped and not call the cops??? I’m so ecstatic this chit is finally hitting the fan! This was first brought to light in 1994, when a janitor ran up on Sandusky w/a child! I still don’t understand how you feel you have enough evidence to ban a him from bringing children on the campus, but not enough to fire him….letting him retire 5 years later. If they would’ve gotten rid of his azz back in 1994, the 2002 incident would not have happened!
McQuery is the one that saw him having sex with a 10 yr old boy in the shower, he heard slapping sounds and he saw the pervert having sex with the boy. I dont know why McQuery is coaching anything he should be fired as well. I give the pervert til the end of the year I doubt if he makes it to trial, he will kill himself im sure.

@ Kingstonn – I think the kid from the shower told his mother. The mother then in turn called the cops. Detectives set up a wire while the mother confronted this bastard. He basically said “i’m sorry. I want forgiveness but I know I’ll never get it from you. I should die!” The detectives took the tape to the DA’s office and they never pressed charges…..This same DA came up missing a while back and all they found was a smashed laptop I think. I think the ENTIRE SYSTEM failed the victims.

The DA in the case tried to erase the memory on his laptop, well somebody tried to erase it. He turned up missing and he is presumed dead, I remember when that happened. The victims are who Im concerned about not the ones that turned a blind eye on the entire situation.

I know it does not matter in the grand scheme of things but does anyone happen to know if these children were black? My girlfriend swears up and down they were predominantly black that’s why nobody cared. 
Im hoping the story im hearing that he pimped out some kids is fake…lawd that would be a whole new level of sickness…I dont think I could be able to talk about it at all if that is true.

A few people on blogs I belong to are alumnae of Penn State. They say they are heartbroken because Paterno is being made the scapegoat and it is more about football than people are saying. They also said Penn State alumnus has raised 55K for RAINN.
I am very curious to see which color the attendees will be wearing. It is so crazy because there was a closely similar story on SVU a couple weeks ago when Chris Bosh and Melo was up there.
They need to clean house completely. Anyone that has been there since 2002 needs to get gone without any severance package.

The reason why McQueary didn’t do more to Sandusky is because Sandusky was one of his father’s best friends, along with Paterno…Sandusky was like a “uncle” to McQueary growing up…
McQueary’s father…Sandusky…Paterno…all life long friends, they didn’t just work together…their families hung out together…their children grew up with each other…
So when you see the history of this situation…you have to ask yourself this…
How is it possible that Joe Paterno did not know that Sandusky had been sexually abusing children in his sports facility for decades…remember, pretty much Paterno’s whole family was working at the facility and were on staff…all of the coaching staff had been coaches for DECADES…they were like family…Joe RAN that place, every aspect of it…Paterno gave Sandusky’s charity, full run of ALL of the facilities…even AFTER the initial incident was filed in 1994…Joe CONTINUED to let Sandusky use the facilities…even after McQueary TOLD him about the rape in 2002…
I personally think that every coach that is on that staff…that has been working their for years was in on it…either they participated in the abuse…or they co-signed on it and provided an atomosphere and location for the abuse to flourish…they KNEW what Sandusky was doing…either by sight or by rumour…or by some…”nagging” suspicion…
BTW…the little boys who were molested…ALL BLACK!!!
I stated that the victims were all Black…to quantify why this hasn’t come out earlier…Sandusky knew that dealing with Black children, from single parent homes who lived in dire poverty…who…by socio-economic and historic nature…were TERRIFIED of authorities…he knew that he could use his race…his power…his access to power…his VAST resources to do whatever he wanted to those children and their mothers…and there would be little or no recourse…
And for decades…there wasn’t…
