On last Thursday’s episode of WE tv’s ‘Braxton Family Values‘, Mama Evelyn Braxton broke the news that her short term boyfriend, Doc, had proposed to her.
Evelyn first broke the news to her eldest daughter, Towanda Braxton — the responsible one — who grilled her mama about the proposal. “Well, what did you say?,” asked Towanda.
“I said, uh, ‘well, okay… it sounds good to me,'” Mama Evelyn replied.
“Mommy,” said a skeptical Towanda, “Who says ‘that sounds alright with me?’ Who says that?”
“He got the point,” said Evelyn. “He would take a ‘yes’ any kinda way he could!”

The show was entertaining last night. Cynthia has NO backbone but we already knew that. I only like Kandi and Phaedra on the show.
I didn’t understand why NeNe felt that Kim was their boss and accused them of running back to her.
Didn’t Cynthia do the same thing a couple of weeks ago and start the whole Marlo-Sheree fight?

I half watched this episode. Is it me, or is BFV getting a little “tired”. So predictable. Tamar is over the top, Trina and Towanda are “long suffering wives”, Traci is comic relief, Toni is “the diva who still think she has a number 1 record out”, and Mama Evelyn is getting more booty than all of them combined.

watching some of these reality shows I feel so damn dumb. This one here is one I can not watch any more. Tamar is putting on for the cameras, or the family all receive monthly checks for sitting back letting her be so over the top and foolish. I knew Towonda from a few years ago. I always thought she was the black-sheep, but this show doesn’t portray her that way which is interesting.
I can’t take these shows of nothing black people doing much of nothing. If everyday people in our lives just drank, went to lunch, and partied, we’d disassociate ourselves from them. For some reason, we tune in to these silly shows.
Kandi, please leave RHOA. You dont need this show, you just bought that 1/2 mil $$$ crib in an affluent area of the Atlanta. This show is garbage. Please remove yourself from this bs show. If Phaedra had any sense as an atty, she’d leave this dumb show too. The rest need this check, Kandi definitely doesn’t. BFV Toni is another one who needs to get it together. She wasted most of her money, but still want to live like she got it like that. I saw the bankruptcy papers doll. It was evident she wasn’t spilling it all in those papers, but she needs to quit it regardless. She’s averaging good money, but with medical conditions and 2 kids and a mama to support, she needs to cut back more imo. But who am I to tell a grown woman how to spend her money?
