The Rev. Al Sharpton plans to hold a non-violent rally in Sanford, Florida to demand justice for 17-year-old Miami resident Trayvon Martin, who was stalked and gunned down by an overzealous neighborhood watch volunteer on Feb. 26.
Sharpton announced through his social networking websites Twitter.com and Facebook that he plans to be in Sanford on Thursday to hold a rally to call for the arrest of Zimmerman.
The rally is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the First Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Many believe Trayvon was the innocent victim of a police wannabe who shot Martin in cold blood and then claimed self defense.
On Friday, Sanford police chief Bill Lee released eight chilling 911 calls describing a scuffle, a man wailing and pleading for help, and a gunshot. The first call was made by Zimmerman, who said he spotted a “suspicious person” in his gated neighborhood. Zimmerman was told not to pursue Trayvon, but he ignored that order.

Another 911 call was made by a witness who stated two men were fighting on the ground. The caller stated “the guy on top” was wearing white. Zimmerman was wearing a white t-shirt that night. Trayvon wore a grey hoodie.

Anybody know where George Zimmerman worked, IF he worked? I’ll call his job and harass the fukk outta them until his azz is pink-slipped!
I want his life, livelihood, friends and everything else to painfully slip away from his azz right up until the moment he ffels no other choice but to bite the barrel of the same 9mm he used on Trayvon.
I really want life to be un-livable for him.
He better not apply for social services or anything else either. The minute he puts something out there that has to give his current address, he is in a sh*t lload of hell.

Im with you on this i cant go to fl. but i will be contacting the police dept. every hour on the hour to see what the status of this case is and until i hear what i want to hear i wont stop calling them i feel we all should do it when i get the phone no. i will post it.

Hello family. Haven’t posted in a while but I’m still in the shadows, reading and always enjoying this blog, the best in America. I just had to comment on this story. Like someone said, I can’t seem to shake this tragedy. (what if he were your son, your only child?) Family, take a stand, go to change.org and sign the petition to arrest this slime they call Zimmerman. (what hispanic is named Zimmerman, sounds jewish to me, his father is a judge) this petitionis the first one listed and folks are signing it, thousands a minute. Keep the momentum going, sign this important petition. Better yet, email the chief of Sanford police (Bill.Lee@sanfordfl.gov) and demand to know why justice has not been served. (ive slreday sent about 100 messages to him) Don’t let the death of this handsome, bright-eyed boy be in vain. We call ourselves Christians? Then take a stand, TODAY! Love you family. Peace.
