Why are we as black people always trying to tear a black man down? Every blog that I visited posted this video and pics of 50 Cent and Rick Ross’ baby mama, Tia Kemp and her children, in Vegas at Floyd Mayweather’s crib before the big fight this past weekend.
Not one blog mentioned Kemp’s ongoing child support struggles with Ross. If it takes 50 Cent putting this man on blast by being all the man he can be and supporting Ross’ family, I don’t have a problem with it.
More rappers should assume the responsibility for deadbeat dads and support their kids. The children didn’t ask for their circumstances. So instead of laughing at Miss Kemp and her kids — or assuming that Fiddy has ulterior motives to sell his album. Why not look at the big picture: at least her kids mouths are being fed and she’s living the life that wouldn’t be afforded to her if she was waiting for checks from Ross.

I can’t say I blame her for her actions. Not exactly someone I would personally kick it with but hey, you just never know life a person leads until you walk a mile in their shoes. It is HARD for single parents and for anyone who states otherwise is playing themselves. That is a job for two and even then it’s STILL hard. Now for the single parents who are fortunate enough to have jobs to sufficiently provide for their children, that is a blessing. For those single parents with jobs and still aren’t able to make ends meet, that’s where the temptation to make those ends meet can lead to some questionable decison-making. Who knows where she may fall on the list. Problem is that she is in the spotlight and subject to being judged. Now she may have goals and needs a catalyst to reach them. Most of us do. Whether its in a form of a scholarship/grant/loan for higher education, daycare to be able to go to work, book deal, 50’s revenge plan (I keed) etc etc whatever, the idea is to do better eventually. I hope she uses the opportunity for what its worth to do better.
@eastpointvet, I totally agree that there is no loyalty to Rick Ross. Personally my children are placed 1st on my list of concerns. Anyone who threatens my child’s emotional, mental or physical well-being is obsolete to me. If that includes the father, then so be it. Let a lion try to harm a cub..that lioness will wear him a new one. The same primal instincts.
