Tameka “Tiny” Harris was the victim of a car break-in while she reportedly had drinks with a friend at Bar Amalfi in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood.
Tameka parked her Lamborghini SUV near the restaurant around 8:45PM and returned to the car at 9:45 pm, only to discover a thief broke into the pricey vehicle and stole over $750,000 in jewelry.
Among the stolen jewelry that was stored inside a blue velour bag on top of the center console were diamond wedding rings (she had more than one), expensive watches and diamond stud earrings, according to WSB-TV.
Friends wondered why the 44-year-old singer kept nearly $1 million worth of jewels in a bag on the console. Haters wondered if the theft is really insurance fraud. But according to a source, the mom-of-7 sat the bag on the console and forgot it when she got out of the car. She always carried the bag inside her purse.
Tameka is reportedly “devastated” over the loss of her jewels – most of which are irreplaceable gifts from her husband, rap mogul Tip “T.I.” Harris, 39.
