The Nobel prize committee displayed hypocrisy at its highest today when presenting US president Barack Obama with his Nobel peace prize. Obama accepted the peace prize a week after ordering 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan to fight a war that nobody cares about.
“I receive this honor with deep gratitude and great hypocrisy humility,” said Obama in Oslo, Norway today. “It is an award that speaks to our highest aspirations – that for all the cruelty and hardship of our world, we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice.”

Here is my question why does he get critisized for getting the award…. someone believed he was worthy of it well some people did. So it aint like he gave it to himself…. I still stand by my opinion i just dont think he needs to be bashed because of it.

I’m confident he put Bush on blast for a war in Iraq…when we needed to be in Afghanistan. Spending money, in a place we did not need to be is a legitmate gripe. It’s gonna be hard waking up black folks. Especially the middle class and above. We always have been naturally skeptical of the government but with Obama as president people think we reached the promise land or something.
