After failing to get President Trump out of office since 2016, Nancy Pelosi plans to use the nuclear option to remove him before the elections.
Pelosi says Congress will discuss using the 25th Amendment powers to remove Trump from office amid unfounded fears that a steroid treatment he received for Covid-19 turned him into a raving maniac.
In addition to experimental antibody drugs by Regeneron and an antiviral drug called remdesivir, Trump also received dexamethasone, a potent steroid that suppresses inflammation in the lungs.
The Democrats and their allies in the news media claim the steroid treatment caused Trump to become aggressive and affected his mental health.
Some side effects of dexamethasone include aggression, anxiety, irritability, mental depression, mood changes and trouble thinking, according to the Mayo Clinic.
But those side effects are rare. As a RN who has administered dexamethasone and Prednisone (as well as other steroids) to hundreds of patients – including children – since 1987, I personally have never witnessed those side effects in any of my patients.
The Democrats seem desperate to remove Trump from office despite national polls saying Biden has a double digit lead over Trump.
Their own internal polls tell a different story. For example, Trump’s approval among Black men has jumped to 45% from just 8% in 2016. And Trump enjoys substantial support among the Hispanic community.
