A Chicago woman is behind bars after she boarded a plane without a ticket to meet Beyonce’s husband, Jay Z.
Yaazmina Payton, 23, was able to slip past airport security at two checkpoints and board an American Airlines flight to LAX without a ticket.
A witness at O’Hare International Airport alerted security when she observed Payton duck under the ropes at the boarding door.
Payton was charged with felony criminal trespass, according to the Chicago Tribune.
She told police she planned to fly to Los Angeles to meet the 50-year-old semi-retired rapper.
Payton’s court-appointed attorney said his client suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorder, and was suffering an emotional break when she illegally boarded the plane.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has launched an investigation into the security lapses at the airport that enabled Payton to get on the plane without detection.
