Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Falynn Guobadia is speaking out after her ex-husband Simon Guobadia announced his engagement to cast member Porsha Williams.
“At this time, I am focusing on finalizing my divorce and healing. Sending positivity to all of you,” Falynn said in a statement on Tuesday.
Falynn and Simon, 56, were married for two years and are said to be finalizing their divorce.
The 31-year-old reality star, influencer and model joined the cast of RHOA in 2021 in the show’s 13th season.
Falynn’s storyline called for her to pretend to be besties with Porsha, 39. Now sources say she feels doubly betrayed, because Porsha was apparently sleeping with her husband behind her back — and everyone knew it but her.
TMZ spoke to multiple sources who confirmed that Porsha and Falynn were never friends — they literally met the day they filmed together on RHOA.
Producers allegedly told them to act as if they’d known each other for years.
That’s why fans were confused when Porsha and Simon announced their engagement on Monday.
Falynn said she split from Simon last month. However, according to TMZ, they separated in January.
This is the third divorce for Simon, who has a plethora of children from previous relationships.
In her lengthy Instagram post on Monday, Porsha wrote:
“Our relationship began a month ago— yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
She added: “Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.”
However several sources say Simon and Falynn’s divorce has not been finalized and they are working on a settlement.
