Last August, Cardi B gave Joe Biden her wish list of things to do for the Black community if he was elected president.
Today, we check off every item on Cardi B’s wish list and grade the President’s ability to get the job done for the Black community.
Cardi B: “First, I just want Trump out. His mouth gets us in trouble so much.”
Grade: PASS
Cardi B: “I want free Medicare. It’s important to have free (healthcare)…”
Grade: FAIL
Medicare and healthcare are still not free — unless you’re an illegal immigrant.
Cardi B: “We’re dealing with a pandemic… I want to know when this will be over?”
Grade: FAIL
There were more deaths from Covid-19 in 2021 than in 2020 when there were no vaccines available. The vaccines have not stopped the spread of the virus as promised by the CDC. In the past week, White House press secretary Jen Psaki and L.A. mayor Eric Garcetti have tested positive for Covid-19, despite both being “fully vaccinated.”
Cardi B: “We need free college education.”
Grade: FAIL
After listening to Cardi’s demands, Biden promised free four-year college education for everyone. “Everybody gets free community college.” He has also reneged on his vow to forgive $10,000 in student loans.
Cardi B: “I want Black people to stop getting killed.”
Grade: FAIL
The Biden administration has done nothing to stop the bloodshed in Democratic cities like Chicago and Atlanta. Nearly 700 Black people have lost their lives to gun violence in Chicago alone with nearly 2 months to go in 2021.
Cardi B asked Biden for “after school programs” in the ‘hood like she had growing up.
Grade: FAIL
There are still no after school programs in inner city neighborhoods.
Cardi B asked Biden for free childcare so single moms can go to work.
Grade: FAIL
Childcare expenses have gone through the roof since Biden has been in office. So has inflation, gas, food prices, etc.
Cardi B: “People wanna know can you provide college education, this Medicare plan, without a big chunk of taxes coming out of our checks?”
Grade: FAIL
Biden has not delivered on his promise to provide free college education. And his proposed $1.5 trillion economic plan will raise taxes across the board for low income and middle class communities.
At the conclusion of their chat, Biden told Cardi B he would make mistakes as president and he would admit to the mistakes he makes. So far, he has blamed former President Trump for everything.
