Dr. Dre celebrated his single status after his divorce from Nicole Threatt Young was apparently finalized.
Byron Prescott shared a photo of the music mogul sitting in a chair under a display of silver mylar balloons that spell out: “DIVORCED AF”.
Presott captioned the image:
“Hey Well My Brother @drdre Just Told Me It’s Final !!! Congrats [champagne emoji] Still Dre.”
Nicole, 51, filed for divorce in June 2020 after 25 years of marriage. The former couple battled it out in court over his $1 billion fortune, but Dre appears to have come out on top.
Dre told the court he had an ironclad prenup. However, Nicole insisted he ripped up the document in front of her to prove his love.
Nicole accused Dre of abuse and multiple infidelities during the course of their marriage.
A judge ordered Dre to pay Nicole $4 million in legal expenses in addition to $300,000 a month in alimony.
They share daughter Truly, 20, and son Truice, 24, together.
