Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are new parents after welcoming a baby girl via surrogate last weekend.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family,” Priyanka announced on Instagram Friday.
The power couple tied the knot in two ceremonies in Jodhpur, India, in front of 225 invited guests.
Nick, 29, and Priyanka, 39, began dating in May 2018. Their 10-year age difference upset Nick’s female fans who thought she was too old for him.
Nick first found fame with the Jonas Brothers on The Disney Channel in 2005. Nick and his brothers, Joe Jonas, 32, and Kevin Jonas, 34, won Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards in 2008.
Nick branched out into acting playing Boone on the FOX horror/comedy series Scream Queens. He also starred in the films Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019).
Priyanka, from Jamshedpur, India, made a name for herself when she won the Miss World pageant in 2000.
She won the Filmfare Award and National Film Award for Best Actress in the movie Fashion, and in 2015, she was cast as Alex Parrish in the ABC crime drama Quantico.
Priyanka released her first single “In My City” in 2012.
