I was working at the paper when the semi-word “impactful” became a great debate. The corrections line rang to my desk. And I dont even remma WHAT article “impactful” was IN All I know is I came in one morning… and I still had my PURSE on my shoulder, my desk phone was ranging OFF the hook, AND the VM was FULL! All over folks being MAD that we ran the imaginary word “impactful”…so now whenever I see it; I am automatically like, “that shat not a real word”
