Rules of proper etiquette dictate respectful attire at a funeral. That’s one place you should never draw attention to yourself.
Unfortunately, Florida rapper Yung Miami was never taught proper etiquette or decorum.
The City Girls rapper was heavily criticized by Black Twitter for wearing strip club attire to rapper Takeoff‘s funeral service at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Friday.
Photos taken at the service show Yung Miami wearing a black leather mini dress under a black leather trench coat and thigh high hooker boots.
Many agreed that her attire was disrespectful to the dearly departed and his family.
The drama peaked when Yung Miami called out others on social media for sharing photos and videos from the memorial service.
IG model Lira Mercer tweeted, “The family asked everyone not to record at the service.. are y’all ok?! Like y’all can’t for a second just be f—– respectful?! Omg.”
To which Yung Miami responded, “Ppl are sick and will do anything to be the 1st to report a story.”

But Takeoff’s fans dragged the “Good Love” rapper for her disrespectful behavior.
They expressed outrage after she posted photos of herself in a photo shoot outside the arena.
Now Yung Miami … Doing a photoshoot in your funeral outfit is wilddddd #LongLiveTakeoff https://t.co/e2htFSKjlH

Girl you went to a funeral, not a fashion show. There’s a time & place to show off your fit and a funeral ain’t it
