Tim Allen denies flashing actress/model Pamela Anderson on the set of “Home Improvement” more than 3 decades ago.
Anderson made the allegation in her new memoir, titled Love, Pamela, which is in stores on Jan. 31. In her memoir, Anderson claimed that Allen exposed himself to her while they were on the set in 1991.
Anderson, 55, played Lisa the Tool Girl in 23 episodes of Home Improvement from 1991-1993. She eventually left the show for a starring role as C. J. Parker in Baywatch.
In her book, Anderson discussed her “uncomfortable” experience with Tim “Tool Man” Taylor. She claims he exposed himself to her in the show’s first episode when she was 23 years old.
However, Allen denied the allegation, saying through his publicist: “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.”
In a statement to Vanity Fair magazine, Anderson said, “This true story is just one of many surreal and uncomfortable situations I learned to navigate. My book goes into how it made me feel over the course of my life and, in this case, my career.”
Allen is the latest victim of Hollywood’s flawed #MeToo movement.
Anderson said: “I have no ill will toward Tim. But like the rest, it should never have happened.”
Despite her claim that Allen made her “uncomfortable,” Anderson returned to Home Improvement for a cameo role in 1997.
