Screenwriter Will Packer is reportedly filming the Girls Trip 2 sequel in Ghana. Black Americans vow to protest the movie if Tiffany Haddish is in it.

Girls Trip starred Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall and Haddish as college friends who go on a girls’ trip to the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

Will Packer previously confirmed a sequel was in the works. Girls Trip 2 co-screenwriter Tracy Oliver provided an update to Variety magazine at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend.

Oliver confirmed she was working on the script for the sequel.

“It’s officially happening,” Oliver told the outlet.

“No one else knows this and [producer] Will Packer might kill me, but we’re looking to set it in Ghana,” she said. “It’s definitely due,” Oliver added when asked when her script for the sequel movie will be finished.

Haddish was canceled after 2 siblings filed a lawsuit accusing her and comedian Aries Spears of molesting them in self-serving comedy skits when they were younger.

The siblings, a brother and sister, described Haddish as uncaring and abusive towards them. Haddish was arrogant and dismissed the lawsuit as a money grab.

Then a scene from one of the skits leaked online. The clip showed Spears molesting a minor child who was only 8 years old.

In a statement, Haddish said she “deeply regrets” the incident — after her career was in shambles.

Despite settling the lawsuit, Black people won’t forget what she did to minor children.
