Over the weekend, Sean “Diddy” Combs and singer Cassie, finally confirmed what everyone else already knew — that they know each other.
“love.him,” wrote Cassie on her Instagram page. “I am blessed,” Diddy tweeted in response. Not exactly earth shattering revelations.
Not coincidentally, today, GQ magazine released pics from Cassie’s upcoming spread in the October 2012 issue.
Cassie, 26, posed for photographer Christian Anwander in a photoshoot that is typical of most of Cassie’s photo shoots. No matter what she wears — whether it’s oil or next to nothing — she always looks hungry, malnourished and uninspired.
On why it’s taking her so long to put out an album:
Cassie: “I’m just a laid-back person. Maybe laid-back to a fault.”
On returning to the music industry:
“It’s been too long, I know, but I got to start over and over again. I feel like I’m a new artist.”
On her lack of popularity:

Miley doesn’t correct him, she just smiles and gives him a hug. Then Flavor calls her Gwen again.
At that point, someone in Flav’s camp pulls him aside and tells him it’s actually Miley Cyrus.

Cassie knows all she has is looks. Can’t say much about her body because I was the same way and felt so depressed about being a grown woman in a little kids body. I ate and ate and ate, but still no weight gain. Had four children and no weight gain, got boobs after the first child, was happy then lost them. Didn’t gain some weight until I ad surgery but I still look like a damn teenager….still no boobs or butt. Some people just can’t gain weight. I say Cassie needs to stick to modeling cause singing is not for her. Why put out an album, when you know you can’t sing and your being taking care of. Comfortable is more like it.

I think she was right. That song is not her style at all. She wouldn’t have sung it that way yamnce did. Also, Christina Millian turned it down as well.
i’m not knocking Cassie in any way, there may be 2 songs i like that she’s done, but at least she realizes she’s not popular with mainstream or underground.
