Pelicans fans roasted Zion Williams after the team’s 133—89 loss to the L.A. Lakers in the NBA In-Season Tournament on Thursday.
The Lakers advanced to the In-Season Tournament finals against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The Pelicans have repeatedly stressed to Zion Williamson that his ‘diet and conditioning’ need to improve, per @cclark_13.

Pelicans fans took to social media to slam Zion, 23, for allowing LeBron James, 39, to embarrass him on the court.
LeBron scored 30 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in just under 23 minutes on Thursday. Meanwhile, Zion struggled to score 13 points and grab a season low 2 rebounds in the game.
Fans are questioning whether Zion’s ex-girlfriend Moriah Mills is to blame for his lackluster performance recently.
Moriah was spotted all over the Las Vegas Strip, where the In Season Tournament is being held. Fans say they spotted Moriah at the team hotel and in nightclubs where Zion partied all week.
The aspiring rapper posted a video on her TikTok page, saying “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”

Zion’s “poor work ethic has been a source of frustration” for the Pelicans writes Chris Clark of the Times-Picayune.
“The Pelicans have repeatedly stressed to Williamson that his diet and conditioning need to improve,” but Williamson “doesn’t listen,” Clark wrote.
