Pop Smoke, born Bashar Jackson, was gunned down in a Los Angeles AirBNB on February 19, 2020. He was 20.

2 adult males and 2 juveniles (15 and 17) were charged with the rapper’s murder.

King Vermont Raskel, a.k.a. “Blockstar”, was only 17 when he killed Pop Smoke.

Since his release from jail, Blockstar, now 21, has been active on social media and disrespecting the dead.

In a recent interview, Blockstar showed no remorse for his actions.

“I’m not sorry about nothing,” Blockstar said. “It should’ve never happened, but I ain’t sorry. If I could go back, I’ll go back. But I ain’t sorry. Ni**as die every day.”

Pop Smoke’s mother Audrey Jackson said she didn’t listen to his interview.

“It doesn’t make sense to hold on to some sort of anger and bitterness that you can’t do nothing with,” Jackson told Hot 97’s TT Torrez. “I’m not gonna hold onto something because then you’ve won. You’ve eaten my soul. I can’t let you do that.”

She continued: “I’m not tuned into that. I have people who will come and say, ‘Have you heard?’ People will hit me up like, ‘Ma, are you OK?’ I felt a way when you just said he was being disrespectful because I’ve been told that he’s been interviewing and being disrespectful. And I gotta let that go because that’ll eat me up. I gotta let that go. ‘Cause the bottom line is, your life is over. His life Is finished. He’s living, but if that’s his approach to what he’s done, life is done for him.”

Blockstar took to Instagram and laughed at Jackson’s interview: “My life ain’t over lol,” he wrote.
