TikTok personality Shawn Jackson, a.k.a. ShawnJ, died suddenly on Sunday. His shocking death came days after he posted a video predicting Sean Combs’ fate.
Combs was arrested in NYC in September. He is currently locked up in a Brooklyn jail while awaiting trial on sex assault charges.
In a video on his @shawnjtheking2 TikTok page, Jackson predicted that Combs would suffer the same fate as financier Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein died of suicide by hanging in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on sex assault charges in 2019.
“I’m 98% sure that this is going to happen,” Jackson said in reference to Combs. “I feel like a lot of celebrities that’s connected to this Diddy case… and they know for a fact that they going to go down, they’re going to start mysteriously dying. They’re probably going to be dropping like flies,” Jackson said.
About a week before he died, Jackson was hospitalized with a mysterious health ailment that caused his throat to swell and he had difficulty breathing.
In text over a video of Jackson in the hospital, he wrote, “At 4am this morning my throat suddenly swelled up, and I could hardly breathe. I didn’t think I was going to make it out. This is the second time it has happened this year. Last time, I barely made it.”
He shared examples of people with enlarged thyroid glands caused by an iodine deficiency. “Here are some examples of what I’m going through,” he wrote.
He concluded, “Last time it stopped me; this time it won’t. I’ll see y’all in the next video.”

Early Monday, Jackson’s baby mama broke the news of his death in a post on TikTok. She wrote, “Hello everyone I’m ShawnJ’s kids mother. I’m so heartbroken, this pain is unbearable and my stomach hurts as I prepare to walk through this journey alone. because my best friend and the love of my life left me, our kids, our family and friends, and all of u yesterday morning.”
She continued: “I really do appreciate all of the love and support from all of you. He was very loved and respected.”
