Joe Budden says WNBA star Angel Reese is doing too much in the off season. In a recent episode of his podcast, Budden said Reese should “chill out” and “Sit her f***ing a*s down” somewhere.

Budden is tired of seeing the Chicago Sky player everywhere. She recently turned up at Nick Cannon’s “Wild ‘N Out” tour in Chicago wearing a very revealing outfit.

Budden said “there’s value” in sitting down and letting people miss you.

“I’ve seen Angel Reese wildin’ out, I don’t know if I’ve seen her on ‘Wild ‘N Out,'” Budden said. “Angel Reese won’t sit her f-ckin’ a-s down… She won’t go sit down somewhere for a second. There’s value in it. This is going to sound like I’m telling women what to do. But I ain’t.”

The retired rapper compared Reese to WNBA’s Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark who is quietly living her life during the WNBA’s off season.

Budden blamed Reese’s people for giving her bad advice.

“Whoever [Reese] got telling her to go pop up everywhere. That’s not what Caitlin Clark’s people are saying — not to make it racial… We just on some star rookie sh-t now,” he said.

A source said the WNBA had a meeting with Reese behind closed doors. The league official told Reese that her public image doesn’t align with the league’s family values.

But Reese doubled down and continues to show her a*s in public.

Sponsors reportedly dumped Reese or declined to renew her contracts.

That led Reese to reveal her financial situation publicly. She recently said she can’t afford the $8,000 monthly rent on her Chicago apartment.

Comedian Aries Spears also dragged Angel Reese in a livestream video. “She’s garbage,” he said about her playing style.

Spears said Reese “just throws the ball up and plays like she’s part of the Special Olympics. She plays like a toddler. There’s no finesse, no smoothness, no beauty, no poetry, no skillset to her game at all. She’s garbage. Stop being delusional.”

Reese didn’t come close to winning the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award. 66 journalists voted for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark as the best of the rookie class.

Only 1 anonymous journalist voted for Reese to keep Clark from winning unanimously.
