Prince Michael Jackson, the eldest son of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, recently announced his engagement to his college sweetheart, Molly Schirmang.

Prince and Molly met while they were students at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

In a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Prince, 28, announced his engagement to Molly after 8 years of dating.

Prince wrote: “8 years down [infinity symbol] to go. Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories. We’ve traveled the world, graduated and grown so much together. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs.”

In a slideshow, Prince included a touching photo of himself and Molly posing with Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson at the Jackson family’s home in Encino, California.

Prince and his siblings, Paris and Bigi, moved into the Tudor style mansion as children after their father died in 2009.

The 2 brothers eventually moved into their own homes, while Paris took over the Jackson family compound.

Prince keeps his father’s memory alive on the walls of his own home.

“I have photos of him and the uncles inside my house,” Prince told E! News in 2022. “I have artistic paintings of him around my house.”

He continued: “I like to lead my life with love, which is what he taught me. I try to help at least one person a day and I feel like that is a way of continuing his legacy.”
