Comedian Druski, known for his controversial sketches and racial comedy, may have gone too far with his latest skit.

Druski decided to take on the NASCAR stock car racing culture by invading their pre-race ceremonies disguised as a hillbilly.

In his video, Druski wore a silicone bodysuit covered in tattoos and a farmer’s tan, heavy makeup, overalls and a wig.

He captioned the video: “That Guy who is just Proud to be AMERICAN.”

Druski’s whiteface skit did not go over well with NASCAR fans who say he reinforces stereotypes by portraying them as rednecks and racists.

The video was viewed over 55 million times on X (Twitter) and sparked a massive backlash on NASCAR forums and social media.

At one point, Druski stopped a Black man headed to the NASCAR race. “You lost boy?” Druski asked him. “No. I’m going to the race,” the polite young man said. Druski leaned out of the car window and spat a hunk of chewing tobacco on the ground.

“You ain’t lost is you?” he asked the young man before telling him to “Find something safe to do boy.”

One X user suggested that white comedian Theo Von “can now do blackface with zero backlash, right?”

Another X user wrote: “I wish you hadn’t spat at black race fans while disguised as a white Hillbilly (even if they are part pf the skit). This sport has worked hard to distance itself from its racist past.”

A third person commented: “I’m white, this is funny as f–. Everything he did in this video is accurate, exactly how that type of person acts. It’s comedy its supposed to be offensive. So funny how normal whites have no problem with this lol.”

Another X user wrote: “You can be funny without being racist.”
