Reality star Tiffany Pollard, a.k.a. “New York”, became a household name in the Black community when she starred in VH1’s reality shows “Flavor of Love” (2006) and “I Love New York” (2007-2008).

There were rumors even back then that Tiffany might be a male-to-female transgender. Tiffany confirmed the rumors by coming out as a nonbinary transgender in a video statement to Pink News.

“Some days, I may feel a lot more masculine, and some days I’m super feminine,” Tiffany said in a TikTok video.
Tiffany first kissed a girl in junior high school, “and I knew, you know, and that was fine. It felt good, it felt right.”
Tiffany continued: “It has to happen at some point. You’re gonna come out of that closet. And once you do, it’s like, okay, wow.”

In addition to hosting “Brunch with Tiffany” (2017–2020) and “Hot Haus” (2022–2023), Tiffany was cast in roles on “House of Villains” (2023–2024) and “College Hill: Celebrity Edition” (2023).
She was also named one of Variety magazine’s Most Powerful Women on Reality TV in 2023.

In 2016, Tiffany joined the cast of the British version of “Celebrity Big Brother.”
Additionally, she hosted the Fenty Beauty holiday gift guide twice — at the personal invitation of Rihanna.

Coming out as nonbinary trans at age 43 will probably serve Tiffany well. But the LGBTQ+ community says she’s about 5 years late.
Question: Did you know Tiffany was trans all along?
