“Love Jones” stars Nia Long and Larenz Tate are teaming up again for a new, untitled romantic drama on Netflix.

According to Deadline, the Netflix drama is Inspired by Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite, the debut album from R&B artist Maxwell.

The movie’s plot line is being kept under wraps. But Nia, 54, and Larenz, 50, are sure to steam up the screen again.

Nia and Larenz serve as executive producers of the film. Sources say the project was shopped to Netflix after it was turned down by Amazon.

The actors recently worked together on Lionsgate’s Michael Jackson biopic, titled “Michael.”

Nia plays matriarch Katherine Jackson and Larenz plays Motown founder Berry Gordy in the biopic Michael.

Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew, plays his famous uncle.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026.

The production has been hit with delays and problems related to molestation accusations against Michael in the 1990s.

Production has wrapped on the 3½ hour movie, but half of the biopic was left on the cutting room floor.

Fuqua says moviegoers may never see Part 2 if the Michael biopic flops at the box office next year.

The first trailer for Michael drops in November.
