Memphis mom Dee Dee Manning shared a TikTok video of her son, Braylon, thanking President Trump for sending the National Guard troops to clean up their city.
In the video, Braylon, who is 9, thanked the president for enabling him to go outside and play without fear of being shot.
“I’ve been noticing how peaceful Memphis is ever since the National Guard came,” he said in the video.
“There was a lot of things I couldn’t do before the National Guard came because I had to worry a lot about guns and stuff. I couldn’t play [outside] because I was worried that somebody might pull out a gun or something. But now I can do that, and I just wanted to thank the president of the United States for bringing the National Guard here.”
TikTok users were impressed with Braylon’s vocabulary and proper diction.
Dee Dee captioned the video:
“Braylon is my entire world. He’s an exceptional young man and I’m not saying that because of my son. He reads and is very much aware of what’s going on. He is very smart.. This is who I do it for! I’m a very proud Mama!”
One TikTok user wrote: “You will never see this on the news.”
Another user wrote: “What a lovely boy and speaks so eloquently.”
A third person commented: “Wise beyond his years. Good job mama.”
