Actor Taye Diggs revealed he has the same celebrity crush as his 16-year-old son Walker.
Taye, 54, tells Us Weekly that he has “so many” secret celebrity crushes, but a 26-year-old rapper has caught his fancy – as well as his 16-year-old son’s.
“My son and I both enjoy Latto,” Taye told Us Weekly. “He doesn’t know like how I like her, but he knows that whatever he says, I’ll nod and be like, ‘Yeah, I can see that.'”
Both father and son are out of luck. Latto only has eyes for rapper 21 Savage.
Taye shares Walker with his ex-wife, actress Idina Menzel. They were married from 2003 to 2014. He also dated “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Apryl Jones, who is the mother of singer Omarion’s children.
Taye, who is promoting his new Lifetime movie, “His, Hers & Ours,” says he’s growing impatient to find his one true love.
“It’s just different,” Taye told People. “I’m older now and I have certain boundaries and my tastes have changed and my patience is low. I can barely use my phone as it is! Now I have to use it to communicate with someone of the opposite sex? When do you text back? How long do you wait? Monosyllabic answers. I just don’t know. It’s been an interesting trip.”
He said finding love takes work and attention.
“I’m just saying it’s not easy,” Taye continued. “It takes some work and attention. I’m taking it one day at a time because my taste will change hourly. I’ll want to be in a relationship, having another kid, and then the next day I can imagine myself being single until I die. My moods are constantly swinging, so we’ll see how it ends up.”
