The entire NBA is buzzing about LeBron James dissing Lakers head coach JJ Redick during Monday night’s blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns.
LeBron and JJ Redick had a disagreement after JJ sent his son, Bronny James, to the G-league.
To appease LeBron, JJ Redick recalled Bronny from the G League for Monday night’s game against the Suns.
Bronny played 6 minutes with zero points and 1 assist.
The Phoenix Suns snapped the Lakers’ win streak at 7 games on Monday night at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
LeBron finished the game with just 10 points. But that was enough to extend his streak to 1,297 for the most games scoring in double digits.
Late in the third quarter, the Lakers were down by 21 points. JJ Redick yelled LeBron’s name at least 3 times. Everyone in the arena heard him – but LeBron ignored him.
JJ called a timeout. But instead of returning to the bench, LeBron stayed on the other end of the court joking with Phoenix Suns players.
Lakers fans speculate that LeBron and JJ had a falling out – which means JJ’s job is on the chopping block.

LeBron recommended JJ to coach the Lakers in 2024. LeBron and JJ had a podcast together before JJ was named Lakers’ head coach.

Insiders say LeBron’s behavior shifted after JJ sent Bronny down to the G League to develop his skills more.
LeBron doesn’t want Bronny to play in the G League. He’s also upset that reporters question why Bronny is even in the NBA at this point.

He'd better tighten up because the Lakers organization is watching their team on a roll without him, just cementing that they did the right thing by not extending his contract. It might be his and Bronny's last season.
