NBC “Today” show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie (center) and her 2 siblings, Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie, appeared in an Instagram video on Wednesday, as the search for their missing mother continues.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on Saturday night, Jan. 31, when Annie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, dropped her off at her home in Tucson, Arizona.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Sunday, Feb. 1, when she didn’t attend church service.
In the video, Savannah spoke directly to the kidnapper(s) who may be holding Nancy hostage.
She acknowledged reports about ransom notes sent to TMZ and a local news affiliate demanding millions of dollars in Bitcoin.
“We, too, have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk,” Savannah Guthrie read slowly. “However, we live in a world in which voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she’s alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us.”

Savannah Guthrie thanked her supporters: “We want to thank all of you for the prayers for our beloved mom, Nancy. We feel them and we continue to believe that she feels them too.”
Savannah said her mother “lives in constant pain” without her medicine.
“She lives in constant pain. She is without her medicine. She needs it to survive,” Savannah said. “Mommy, if you are hearing this, you are a strong woman. You are God’s precious daughter. Everybody is looking for you. We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again.”
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said he believes Nancy Guthrie is still “alive” and “we want to save her.”
“We have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here,” Nanos said in an interview with NBC’s Liz Kreutz. “She’s present. She’s alive, and we want to save her.”
Investigative reporter Ashleigh Banfield continues to stand by her report that Nancy’s son-in-law is a “prime suspect” in the case.
On Wednesday, Sheriff Nanos released a statement on Facebook confirming that the department has not “identified a suspect or person of interest in this case.”
