Melania Trump brought an AI-powered robot named “Figure 3” to speak at the Fostering the Future Together Global summit at the White House in Washington, DC on Wednesday, March 25.
The robot identified itself as “a humanoid built in the United States of America. I am grateful to be part of this historic movement to empower children with technology.”
In her speech, Melania said a humanoid AI robot will be placed in every home to teach America’s children. The robots will be funded by federal and state taxes.
Melania proposes replacing teachers with humanoid AI educators named Plato to deliver instantaneous access to classical studies, literature, science, art, mathematics and history “in the comfort of your home.”
The first lady said Plato will provide a “personalized experience adaptive to the needs of each student. Plato is always patient and always available. Predictably, our children will develop deep critical thinking and independent reasoning abilities.”

The White House today had a @Figure_robot explain to the world that it will soon be replacing teachers…
And it will. It will also replace surgeons, lawyers, pilots, truck drivers, police officers, soldiers and basically every other job.
And believe it or not…this is good. pic.twitter.com/F4seYMkhYp
