According to my west coast connect — who is very well connected — troubled rapper Lil Wayne suffered a seizure around 11 p.m. Tuesday, west coast time. My source says Wayne was rushed to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, the same hospital where he spent a week in ICU in March.
“You didn’t hear this from me but Lil Wayne had another seizure about an hour and a half ago and had to be rushed to Cedar Sinai out here in LA. I am wondering why TMZ has not been tipped off yet.”
My source speculates that Weezy’s camp is desperate to keep the news of Wayne’s latest seizure off the blogs. As we know, certain mega gossip blogs will look the other way if a camp promises them exclusive information in the future.
Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, recently announced he’s going on a grueling 40-city tour with rappers T.I. and 2 Chainz. The tour kicks off on July 9, 2013 in Birmingham, Alabama. The tour is sponsored by the soft drink company Mountain Dew.
Wayne is well-known for his addiction to prescription cough medicine Promethazine with Codeine (aka Purple Drank or Sizzurp), which is mixed with hard candy and soft drinks. The highly addictive concoction can cause life-threatening seizures if taken for a prolonged period of time. In an interview with LA’s Power 106 on March 28, Wayne claimed he was diagnosed with epilepsy.

I’m quite sure the media has already prepared his obituary. They do that for celebs that are older or are at high risk of death do that when they get the news they can break the story quicker. I remember the first time I met Lil Wayne when he was 15. He was staying at the Melia Hotel in downtown Atlanta with Birdman and the Cash Money crew. I think they were in town for a concert. The Melia Hotel had another name back then. Anyway, Birdman called me and asked me to come to the hotel so he could buy the pictures I had taken of them the day before. So I hurried to the hotel. When I got there, he gave me the room number and told me to come up, but I parked myself in the lobby because I’m no groupie. I was there on a different kind of business.

He told me, “That young boy has a baby.” I was shocked.

I am reading Redbone by T Styles. I finished reading Raunchy 1, 2, and 3 (patiently waiting on part 4). She is a beast. I also read her books Black and Ugly, Black and Ugly As Ever, and Miss Wayne and the Queens of DC. I really like this author.
Another book that I suggest is Underneath It All by Ayana Ellis. Very, very good book!

This entitled bish on TV is the reason why I stay so hard on my 17yo aunt on finishing school. SHe has straightened out a lot (still disrespectful to an extent though) and she is graduating with NO babies (as far as I know)
