Troubled music producer Kanye West became enraged when a member of the paparazzi got too close to him and his beard, Kim Kardashian after they dined at the Prime 112 in South Beach on Sunday. The paparazzi simply asked Kim to comment on the fact that her ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush, got a groupie knocked up.

Kim grabbed ahold of Kanye's arm as he lashed out at the photog in an attempt to grab the pap's camera. Oh, did I mention that the paparazzi was a female?

It takes a real man to keep his head when all around him are losing theirs. Kanye West is obviously a coward!

  • Still basking in the success of her hit reality TV series, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,' producer Mona Scott-Young reportedly began shooting her newest scripted series titled 'Gossip Girls,' on location in New York. The new series reportedly stars radio jocks Angie Martinez, Miss Info, Angela Yee, and blogger Necole Bitchie.

This blogger was in consideration as a cast member as well, but I politely declined. (Read the email they sent me after the break.)

The cast is an enigma. These women don't gossip; they just say whatever their celebrity friends want them to say. Miss Info is a sweetheart and a cutie pie, but who the hail cares about Angie Martinez or Necole Bitchie?

On Sunday millions of people worldwide were captivated by the sight of a tiny, one-man capsule being carried aloft by a gigantic 55-story helium-filled balloon. Inside the cramped capsule, Austrian paratrooper Felix Baumgartner prepared to become the first man to break the speed of sound while free falling 24 miles to earth.

The capsule ascended into space at the rate of 1,000 feet per minute. It took roughly 2 hours and 20 minutes for the capsule to ascend 128,100 feet above earth, breaking the record for the highest non-aircraft altitude.

24 miles above the earth, Baumgartner, 43, stepped out onto the capsule's small ledge and bunny hopped into space. He shattered the speed barrier even as he went into an uncontrolled spin, eventually reaching a top speed of 833 mph (Mach 1.24) about 30 seconds into his jump.

In a rare interview with CNN's Piers Morgan back in July, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick whined that he wanted to give his kids a dog.

In 2007, Vick, 32, pleaded guilty to killing at least 8 dogs by electrocution and hanging for performing poorly during illegal dog fights. Vick served less than 2 years in federal prison for dog fighting. He was released from prison in 2009, making him eligible to resume his professional football career.

On Tuesday, Vick tweeted a seemingly innocent photo of himself studying game film on an iPad while his young daughter did her homework next to him. "We working" read the caption under the photo.

Vick blurred out the content on his iPad screen before tweeting the pic, but he forgot to blur out the open box of Milk Bone dog biscuits on the kitchen table next to his daughter's dog folder.

That is how the general public learned that Vick -- a convicted dog killer -- owned a dog.

Much is being made of Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, sneaking out of his Hollywood Hills in the early morning hours. Brown unceremoniously dumped Karreche for Rihanna in a now-infamous press release last week. But it is entirely possible that Rihanna, Brown and Karrueche have agreed to have an open relationship.

And since Rihanna is not readily available to him due to her frequent travels, it makes sense that Brown has a backup plan.

I still believe the whole Nicki vs Mariah public squabble is a publicity stunt to boost TV ratings for American Idol. Even if they don't like each other, why wait until they are both signed to "American Idol" to start showing their animosity to each other in public?

At any time Mariah and Nicki could have taken their disagreements to Twitter like every other celebrity.

One noted blogger, Dr. Boyce Watkins, is concerned that -- even if this is a publicity stunt -- what kind of message are these women sending to their young fans?

"When celebrities and role models behave this way on television, it should concern us all," he writes on

"It seems that black women fighting and trying to murder one another has become the trend of the day, and quite frankly, it’s making me sick."

Singer Beyonce voices her support for President Obama in a campaign video titled 'Women for Obama.'

American Idol's TV ratings has sunk to less than half of what it was in its heyday during the 1990s. Naturally, FOX is desperate for something (other than screeching singers) to draw viewers back. So the show's producers hire loud mouthed celebrities to replace the vocally-challenged singers as the program's biggest draw.

Enter Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey to save the day for FOX: Let the publicity stunts begin.

The two new AI judges were conveniently filmed hurling obscenities at each other during auditions in Charlotte, NC, which was coincidentally captured by TMZ's cameras.
