“Give It To You” highlights Mya’s enthusiastic appreciation for funk’s golden era in the 1980s. “‘Give It to You,’ is my love letter to a time when music was boldly funky, flirtatious, and utterly unforgettable,” Mya says. “It’s my invitation for everyone to skate, dance, and keep the party going – this vibe is just getting started.”

On “Give It To You,” Mya sings:

New video has emerged of the Las Vegas shooting that left a West Valley YouTuber and his wife dead. A yearlong social media feud ended in tragedy for Rodney “Finny Da Legend” Finley, 42, and his wife Tanisha “Bubbly” Finley, 41.

The shooting was captured on livestream video near the Bellagio Fountains on the Las Vegas Strip on June 8. In one video feed shot by Finley, YouTuber Manuel Ruiz, a.k.a. SinCity-MannyWise, is seen walking past Finley before doubling back to gun down Finley and his wife.

Ruiz, 41, surrendered to police in Clark County, Nevada on June 9. He faces double murder charges. Ruiz has claimed self-defense.

The second video, captured by Ruiz’s wife, Julie, doesn’t show the shooting. But Julie is heard telling Ruiz that Finley is “right there.”

Julie’s video shows Finley dressed in black with his back turned to the camera. He is setting up his own camera to film live. Finley’s wife, Tanisha, is standing nearby.

The shooting stemmed from a yearlong online feud. According to reports, Finley mocked Ruiz in a video posted last week (see videos below).

Finley reportedly called Ruiz mentally ill and possibly suicidal. The public feud erupted when Ruiz spotted the Finleys on Sunday. Tanisha told Ruiz, “Don’t bring your as* over here starting no sh*t!”

When Ruiz opened fire, Tanisha grabbed Finley’s camera to record her own reaction to the tragedy.

Ruiz shot Finley multiple times before shooting Tanisha twice in the head. The Finleys were pronounced dead at the scene.

A memorial service for the Finleys is scheduled for June 21. A GoFundMe account raised over $9,400 for their funeral expenses.

The Finley’s four children told 12News their mother always put her family first.

Their daughter, Rakia Finley said her parents loved Las Vegas. The Finleys were in town to celebrate Rodney’s birthday.

“She was loving. She was caring. She was always there for us,” their son Rodney Finley Jr. said.

The video below shows the ongoing online feud between Finley and Ruiz that led up to the shooting.

T.I. and Tiny dragged for letting daughter Heiress sing ‘Just Kicking It’ at BET Awards

Rapper T.I. Harris and his wife, Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris received backlash for letting their youngest daughter, Heiress, sing her mom’s hit song, “Just Kicking It”, at the 2025 BET Awards on June 9 in Los Angeles.

MEGA/WENN

“Just Kicking It” is the first single from R&B group Xscape’s 1993 debut album, Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha. The grown-up song contains the lyrics:

Every man wants a woman
Where him and her can just go hang
Huh, just the two of them alone
Kick back, doin’ their own thang

And every man wants a woman
That can always keep him in the mood
And I’m that kind of girl
So, this is what I tell my dude.

Heiress, who was nominated for the YoungStars Award, sang the song like a pro. But fans say the lyrics are too mature for a 9-year-old child.

One fan wrote on X: “Heiress has a beautiful voice though but these lyrics are hella inappropriate.”

Another person wrote: “A whole father allowing his daughter to sing this inappropriate song.”

Heiress began singing as a toddler before she transitioned into acting.

After her performance at the BET Experience, Heiress walked the red carpet with her parents. She took credit for their coordinated outfits.

Heiress said she designed her powder blue and cream tuxedo. T.I. said Heiress wanted a “fancy tuxedo for a girl.” He added, “I decided to follow suit. I decided to go deconstructed, done and undone, you know?”

Tiny said she chose a cream pantsuit to match T.I. and Heiress.

One of Sean Combs’ ex-girlfriends continues to testify during his sex-trafficking trial in Manhattan. The woman, testifying as “Jane”, said she was in bed with the music mogul when CNN first aired video showing him stomping his other ex, Cassie Ventura, in a Los Angeles hotel.

Jane said Combs’ son called to advise him about the video leak. She didn’t identify which of Combs’ 2 sons called him. Combs shares 6 children with Misa Hylton, Sarah Chapman, Dana Tran and the late Kim Porter.

Combs, 55, reportedly paid $100,000 in cash for what he likely thought was the only physical copy of the video in 2016.

Jane said Combs went into damage control, calling his family and friends as the video went viral in May 2024. The video shows Combs, wearing only a bath towel, chasing Cassie down a hotel hallway in 2016.

Combs caught up to Cassie at the elevator, threw her to the floor and stomped her with a socked foot.

Jane said Combs and his team immediately got to work on his public apology.

“I just remember that they were just trying to come up with some sort of sincere apology post or something regarding the video,” Jane said.

Combs later shared a since-deleted apology video on his Instagram account.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life,” Combs said “Sometimes you gotta do that. I was f—ed up. I mean I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.”

Jane told the jury that she was “underwhelmed” by Combs’ apology. “I felt there was no heart there,” she said, adding that she was “disappointed” by his statement.

Combs allegedly continues to pay Jane’s living expenses, including $10,000 a month rent and childcare for her son.

Rapper 50 Cent dropped hints last week that Jane is the mother of his 12-year-old son.

The hotel video has been shown multiple times during the trial. Combs is not on trial for domestic violence.

Colorado football coach Deion Sanders took to social media on Tuesday morning amid reports that he is battling unspecified health issues.

Deion, 57, hasn’t been seen at his annual summer football camps that got underway last week in Boulder, Co.

The NFL legend was reportedly hospitalized in Canton, Texas. He has been out of the public eye since April.

Deion posted an inspirational message on X (Twitter) on Tuesday morning:

“Let’s attack today with all we have. Let’s give today everything we got. Let’s not save ourselves for tomorrow knowing tomorrow ain’t promised. Let’s go all out baby. I believe in you & you Believe in what God has bestowed upon u. Let’s go! #CoachPrime.”

Concern for his health grew after he missed a major speaking engagement in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 8. NBA legend Magic Johnson was brought in at the last minute to host the foundation event.

Deion’s eldest son, Deion Jr., said his dad’s return to Colorado is uncertain.

“He’ll tell y’all soon enough what he going through, what he went through,” Deion Jr. said. “When we get back in Boulder, I don’t know. I’m waiting until my dad leaves [the hospital]. When he leaves, then I’ll go. Until then, I’m gonna sit here with him.”

In 2021, Deion underwent multiple surgeries including amputation of two of his toes due to poor circulation caused by diabetes.

In a podcast appearance with former NFL cornerback Asante Samuel last month, Deion hinted at “a whole other level” of medical problems he’s facing.

“I lost about 14 pounds,” Deion said. “I’m coming back, but I needed this… What I’m dealing with right now is at a whole other level.”

The Colorado Buffaloes are set to open their 2025 season against Georgia Tech on Aug. 29. They will be without last season’s stars – Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and defensive back Shilo Sanders.

Update: Simone Biles Apologizes to Riley Gaines: ‘It Didn’t Help for Me to Get Personal with Riley’

Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles apologized for getting “personal” with Riley Gaines after she slammed the swimmer for criticizing a transgender athlete.

Riley, a former University of Kentucky swimmer, shared a post on X about a transgender pitcher for a high school softball team that won the state championship.

Riley said Champlin Park High School’s win was “to be expected when your star player is a boy.”

Simone lashed out at Riley, calling her “truly sick” and a “loser”. She insulted Riley by comparing the swimmer’s body to a man’s.

“You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser,” Simone said in a comment on X.

Simone referred to Riley (right) losing a race against former UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas (left) at the 2022 NCAA championships. Lia Thomas is a male-bodied swimmer.

Simone continued: “You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!! But instead… You bully them… One things for sure is no one in sports is safe with you around!!!!!”

She added, “bully someone your own size, which would ironically be a male @Riley_Gaines_.”

On Tuesday, Simone apologized and argued that she was not advocating for unfairness in women’s sports. She simply took issue with Riley for calling out a child on social media.

Women’s rights advocates lashed out at Simone on X.

An x user posted a video of Simone competing against a male gymnast who made her look like an amateur.

Another person dug up an old X post by Simone that said “ahhhh good thing guys don’t compete against girls or he’d take all the gold medals.”

NeNe Leakes dragged for saying she won’t sleep with bisexual men

NeNe Leakes is being roasted on X (Twitter) for saying she won’t sleep with bisexual men. NeNe made the comment during a very confusing interview with trans influencer Ts Madison on her NeNe Leakes Show on YouTube.

Ts explained to NeNe that some men prefer a “variety” and that the men she talks to have probably slept with other men.

But NeNe was adamant that she would never talk to a man who is intimate with other men.

“A lot of men are pan but they won’t say anything,” Ts Madison told NeNe.

“I don’t wanna run into them,” said NeNe. “I don’t wanna date him,” she added.

“I know that you women consider trans women [to be] men because we were born male. But there’s a difference between being man and male,” said Ts.

NeNe responded, “I get it, but you, you have your [male] parts.”

“That doesn’t make any sense to me” ~ NeNe Leakes

Ts Madison, who was born Timothy Maurice Hinton, replied: “There are men who deal with me that won’t touch my parts.”

“That doesn’t make any sense to me,” said NeNe.

Ts said he’s had gentlemen tell him to put a pillow over his genitals. “And I’m like, you’re not the ni**a for me,” Ts said.

Ts went on to say he refuses to hide his male genitals from his sex partners. “I’m not hiding sh*t from you.”

Photo of NeNe Leakes

NeNe said she doesn’t want a man who sleeps with both genders. “I don’t wanna talk to him no more.”

“I don’t want him,” NeNe insisted. “I’m over it! That’s why I’m not even dating,” she added.

X users dragged NeNe for saying she would never sleep with a man who has been with a trans person.

One user said: “And this is why y’alls boyfriends and husbands stay in the closet … this exact mindset.”

Another person wrote: “It’s not wrong for Nene to PREFER a man that’s not pansexual or bisexual. The problem is, ‘well I don’t want to sleep with a man if he sleeps with YOU.’ That ‘YOU’ is VERY nasty.”

A third person commented: “The issue is they don’t want to recognize trans women’s womanhood. Like madison said they still view them as men. That’s the only way to come to the conclusion that a man being attracted to trans women and c!s women makes him bisexual. And it doesn’t he’s still straight.”

Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Deported Back to Nigeria

Porsha Williams’ estranged husband Simon Guobadia has been deported back to his native Nigeria. Simon was in ICE custody since February.

According to his business partner, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member was deported a few days ago.

Simon, 61, was held at the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia since being detained at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport after arriving on a flight in February.

Simon’s business partner, Tai Savet, said he was in “good spirits” and that he held no grudge against President Donald Trump.

In an exclusive interview with Michelle “ATLien” Brown, Simon said he would not fight his deportation and that he was preparing to be released from ICE custody.

He said he was treated well by ICE employees, particularly the black women who were fans of the show.

He believes Porsha had something to do with his arrest when he arrived in the U.S. to attend their divorce hearing in February.

Simon immigrated to the United States in 1982, but he overstayed his visa and he was deported. He returned in 1986 under an alias name and was deported again, but he somehow made his way back to America.

Simon applied for legal residency in the U.S. but his application was denied. Years later, Simon met and married RHOA cast member Falynn Pina.

On May 10, 2021, Porsha Williams revealed she was engaged to Simon after dating him for only one month.

After divorcing Falynn, Simon married Porsha on November 25, 2022. In February 2024, Porsha filed for divorce.

Porsha asked a judge to enforce their prenup agreement. A judge ruled she could live in their $7.2 million marital home in Sandy Springs during their ongoing divorce.

Simon’s deportation complicates his divorce from Porsha. He was expected to appear at their divorce hearing virtually on Wednesday, June 11.

Trump has vowed to deport 15-20 million illegal immigrants during his second term in office.

Ciara returns with new studio album, CiCi, as a ‘thank you’ to her fans

Ciara returns with a new studio album after a 6-year hiatus! In an exclusive interview with my cousin Sam’s blog, That Grape Juice, in London, the superstar opened up about her eighth studio album, titled CiCi.

Set for release on August 22 in America (July 11 in the UK), the eagerly anticipated project will be on the GRAMMY winner’s own record label, Beauty Marks Entertainment.

CraSH/imageSPACE / MEGA

The mom-of-four told Sam what listeners can expect from the new project. She also dished about going on tour, taking charge as an independent artist, and much more.

Ciara was a little under the weather. But she powered through the interview and gave her U.S. fans a little taste of what they can expect in August!

CraSH/imageSPACE / MEGA

The “1, 2 Step” singer gushed about performing in London recently. “That was really fun, being out there in front of 20,000+ people, smiling so big here in London,” she said. “It was quite the scene, it was a night I will never forget.”

Ciara, 39, said she chose to release her new album independently because she was “exhausted” with the traditional way of releasing albums through a major record label.

CraSH/imageSPACE / MEGA

“It was just time for me to level up – pun intended, right?” she joked. Ciara said she prefers not to fight through a major record label’s resistance to her ideas.

She commented on owning her recording masters. “It’s an empowering feeling owning my masters. I asked for my masters back and they gave them to me for free,” she said.

“That lets you know how much they didn’t believe [in me], but I’m so glad I never stopped believing … in myself. And I’m also so glad that my fans never stopped believing,” she added.

CiCi said her new album is a thank you to her “fans for their unwavering love and support.”

She attended the 2025 BET Awards on June 9. According to Red Carpet Fashion Awards, CiCi wore a black Cong Tri Fall 2025 lacquer silk shirt and taffeta fringe skirt with a black train.

She accessorized with a plethora of bling jewelry and an Atlanta Braves ball cap with an “A” bedazzled in Swarovski crystals, and a pair of strappy black heels.
