Top WNBA Prospects Are Staying in College After Caitlin Clark’s Abusive Treatment

Some of college’s most talented female basketball players are choosing to stay in college after Caitlin Clark’s abusive treatment in the WNBA.

Notre Dame’s Olivia Miles (pictured) stunned the sports world when she decided to forgo the WNBA draft and enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Miles has an extra year of eligibility after missing the 2023-24 season due to a torn ACL injury.

The news is disappointing to the Seattle Storm who planned to draft her with the No. 2 pick.

Caitlin Clark, who broke the NCAA scoring record, had a final year of eligibility at Iowa. She earned millions of dollars in NIL deals in college. So money wasn’t a problem.

Clark, 23, could have stayed in college and entered the WNBA draft this year. But she chose to enter the WNBA draft in 2024 for the love of the game.

Unfortunately, the game didn’t love her back.

Coaches and referees looked the other way when WNBA players knocked Clark down, head hunted her, and one even tried to poke her eye out!

Clark spent more time writhing on the court in pain from hard fouls than she did celebrating the Indiana Fever’s victories.

If the abuse on the court wasn’t bad enough, South Carolina coach Dawn Staley and others on the Olympic Committee refused to pick Clark for the USA women’s basketball team.

Now they see the error of their ways and have since apologized to Caitlin, but it’s too late.

What college kid wants to subject herself to the brutal abuse that the league’s No. 1 rookie endured last year?

Olivia Miles isn’t the only top college prospect to avoid the toxic WNBA.

Top draft prospect, Flau’jae Johnson (left) says she hasn’t decided whether she will enter the 2025 draft. Johnson will turn 22 this year and is eligible to declare for the WNBA draft.

UConn women’s basketball star Azzi Fudd recently decided to forgo the WNBA draft and return to UConn next season.

For months, UConn superstar Paige Bueckers hinted she would stay in college and play one more year. Like Clark, Bueckers receives millions in NIL deals in college.

But she recently changed her mind and will declare for the 2025 draft.

Bueckers probably received assurances from the WNBA Commissioner that she won’t receive the Caitlin Clark rookie treatment.

If WNBA players take it easy on Bueckers in her rookie season it would prove that they intentionally targeted Clark for abuse.

A Memphis man who ran over a tow truck driver’s head allegedly owed money to a woman who sold him the car that was being repossessed.

According to reports, an unidentified woman sold the car to the man for $500. But he defaulted on the monthly payments.

The woman allegedly hired the tow truck driver to repossess the car on private property.

The tow truck driver, known as Phil Pacman Guy, was seriously injured when the driver of the red 2011 Ford Fusion hopped in the car and backed the vehicle over his head.

The incident happened at the University Gardens Manor apartments in Memphis, Tennessee on March 26, 2025.

Viral footage shows Pacman dragging a chain to hook up the car when the driver ran past him and jumped into the vehicle.

Pacman screamed as the driver backed the car over his head. The driver maneuvered the car out of the tight parking space, guided by a female accomplice.

Pacman said he heard the woman shout “hurry up!”

Memphis police eventually arrested the driver, Nicholas Wray, 34, and his girlfriend Brandi Revels, 27, on Friday, March 28.

Revels was booked on a $15,000 bond and Wray is being held on $60,000 bond, according to the MPD.

The tow truck driver was hospitalized with minor head abrasions, arm pain, and a possible head injury.

He shared photos of his injuries on Facebook. “SHARE SHARE SHARE,” he wrote in the photo caption on Facebook.

The Ford Fusion was located by police at Oakmont Place and “towed to the city lot,” according to Memphis police.

One of many sexual assault lawsuits filed against jailed rap mogul Sean Combs has been dismissed in federal court.

The lawsuit, originally filed by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee in Oct. 2024, claimed that Combs attempted to sexually assault a “Jane Doe” at a New York City party in 1995. The suit claimed Combs beat the woman when she refused his advances.

In January, the court denied Buzbee’s motion for Jane Doe to proceed with her case anonymously. The judge said the case would be dismissed if Doe did not identify herself in the lawsuit by March 20.

The judge stated that the “very gravity of the charges” combined with “no evidence of specific and concrete harm… undermin[ed] her claim to proceed anonymously.”

After the woman missed the March 20 deadline, the judge dismissed the case on Monday, March 31.

The woman’s case is one of dozens of sexual assault lawsuits filed by Buzbee against Combs with no evidence to back up the claims.

In a statement to Variety.com, Buzbee said Jane Doe “opted not to proceed.”

“There is a lot of fear amongst these plaintiffs. I thus can’t blame her,” Buzbee added. “These are tough cases and they are many times re-traumatizing for those who pursue them. Each case stands on its own merit. This woman chose not to proceed and subject herself to the media circus and the perceived danger she felt. We have to respect that.”

Combs’ attorney said the dismissal is a sign that other pending cases against Combs will also be dismissed in the near future.

Combs is currently sitting in a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial on May 5.

One of 2 suspects wanted in the shooting of aspiring rapper Sauce Walka and his artist, Sayso P, was found dead in Houston on March 27.

Jayden Dandridge, 21, one of two suspects identified in the March 22 shooting in Memphis, was shot multiple times execution-style, police say. His body was found in an abandoned building in Houston, TMZ reported.

The second suspect in the shooting, 22-year-old Kevin Brown, is still on the run.

Dandridge and Brown were seen in video footage exiting a white Dodge Charger outside a Westin Hotel in Memphis on March 22.

The two suspects allegedly opened fire, wounding Sauce Walka in the leg and killing 27-year-old aspiring rapper Sayso P.

Hours earlier, Sauce Walka and Sayso P flossed cash and jewelry in a livestream video. Walka said he was in Memphis, dropping his location to their opps.

The Memphis Police Department said an arrest warrant for Dandridge has been withdrawn in light of his death.

Walka, 34, appeared in a livestream days after the shooting to pay tribute to his “brother” Sayso P.

When fans asked if he was going to retaliate for Sayso P, Walka said he could snap his fingers and have “500 men” arrive from different states to hunt down the suspects.

“I can’t retaliate because that’s not righteous,” he said. Watch the videos below.

Rumors are spreading online that Sauce Walka had an insurance policy on Sayso P with himself as the beneficiary.

Fans note the shooter was killed in Houston, where Sauce Walka lives. Video obtained by TMZ shows a man – believed to be Sauce Walka – running away from the shooter who let him escape.

Janice, 62, was accused by the judge of being the “fixer and nerve center” in charge of the fraud scheme.

After the verdict was read, “Mama Kingston,” as Janice is known on Instagram, was taken into custody and ordered held at the Broward County Jail after the judge considered her to be a flight risk because of her testimony during the trial.

“Protect my mother,” the rapper cried out as US Marshalls escorted Janice to jail, WPLG reported.

Kingston’s lawyer described him as a “child” who did not understand finances and would spend money with no regard.

Kingston is on house arrest in South Florida after paying a $200,000 surety bond in cash.

Sean and his mother face decades in prison when they are sentenced.

Tamar Braxton Says She’s Been Celibate for a Year (Video)

R&B singer Tamar Braxton says she is doing just fine without a man in her life.

The 48-year-old “Love and War” singer revealed she’s been on her celibacy journey for the last year.

“I’m still celibate,” she said during the March 28 episode of The Breakfast Club. “Not even a kiss, not a date.”

She continued, “I have friends, casual conversation, but I’m not interested. There’s no one that I’ve been interested in.”

Her words conflicted with recent statements she made on Instagram.

In a recent video shared to social media, Tamar said she’s taking precautions while on the dating scene in Atlanta, where 1 in 3 men are diagnosed with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

Tamar revealed that she is currently taking PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), a medication that blocks the HIV virus from replicating inside cells in the body.

Prince Williams/WireImage

“I’m on PrEP, and I will tell everybody get on PrEP because prepare yourself for the streets.”

“It’s important to take care of yourself, no matter what your relationship status is,” Tamar said in the video. “And I’m just being honest about what that looks like for me.”

The PrEP drug is prescribed for sexually active men and women. Tamar is aware that the men she dates in Atlanta may be dating other men.

However, now Tamar claims she is abstinent, but she does still crave intimacy occasionally – although her long-term goals keep her from acting on her urges.

“Of course I [desire intimacy],” she said, “but where does that lead to? If they’re not like-minded and we’re not on the same page… I’m dating for intent, and nobody is dating for intent anymore. It’s crazy.”

The single mother shares son Logan, 11, with ex-husband Vincent Herbert.

“Here’s the thing: I didn’t want to keep introducing Logan to the people that were in my life,” she said during an appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s show that aired on March 26.

“I just want to mentally protect him as much as I can. I don’t want to give him any abandonment issues or anything like that.”

“There’s no way I’m going to bring another man into his life to be unsuccessful,” she said on an episode of her Life, Love, & Beyond podcast at the time. “There’s no way.”
