Sherri Shepherd was moved to tears by Jonathan Majors’ portrayal of a bodybuilder who is on the autism spectrum in his new movie Magazine Dreams.
Jonathan stopped by“The Sherri Shepherd Show” to promote his new film, Magazine Dreams.
In the film, Jonathan portrays aspiring bodybuilder Killian Maddox, whom the actor describes as “mentally different” because he’s on the spectrum.
“You find out that his childhood was a bit difficult, and therefore he moves through the world in a different way,” Jonathan explained.

Sherri became emotional and she fought back tears after watching an advanced screening of the film. She said Killian reminded her of her special needs son, Jeffrey. “So to see you portray this character — it touched my heart. So that’s why I cry because you so beautifully portrayed this man.”

Jonathan pulled a tissue out of his pocket and handed it to Sherri so she could dry her tears.
“It really meant something to me watching that movie, when I watched you, Jonathan, you’re so beautiful in it,” she said while fighting back tears.

In addition to Jeffrey, 19, from her first marriage to actor Jeff Tarpley, Sherri has a son who was delivered by a surrogate during her loveless marriage to her second husband, Lamar Sally. They divorced in 2014.
Sherri waived her parental rights to her youngest son, but a judge ordered her to pay $4100 a month in child support to Lamar.
Sherri’s indifference toward her youngest child hurt her image with her female audience.
A federal indictment released on Wednesday details how Rollin’ 60s Crips gang leader Eugene “Big U” Henley extorted professional athletes and rappers.
Federal agents arrested more than a dozen members of the Rollin’ 60s faction of the Crips street gang in California and Virginia on Tuesday, the LA Times reports.

Also arrested were “No Jumper” podcast co-host Zihirr Mitchell, aka “Bricc Baby (right), and Luce Cannon (not pictured).
According to the 107-page indictment, Henley reportedly extorted athletes, and celebrities to “check in” and pay money in exchange for protection when they visited his city.
“As part of the Big U Enterprise’s purported ‘control’ of Los Angeles, individuals, including professional athletes, musicians, and others, intending to conduct certain types of business in Los Angeles, were required to ‘check in’ with Henley prior to traveling to Los Angeles or engaging in certain activities to obtain ‘protection’ from the Big U Enterprise while in Los Angeles,” the indictment read.

Henley and his gang associates were “quite open in their threats of violence and intimidation if the victims did not pay the Big U Enterprise,” according to the indictment.
Henley hosted a podcast titled “Checc’n In,” the opening theme song explained, “When you hop off the plane, check in. Penthouse suite, check in. When your feet hit the street, check in. ‘Cause if not, shit get hot. You better check in.”
If celebrities refused to check in with Henley, they were threatened with violence.

The indictment describes an incident involving rappers Wiz Khalifa (left), T.I. Harris (right) and other artists who were booked to appear at a Los Angeles nightclub.
Henley demanded $30,000 cash from the promoter, plus 30% of the proceeds at the door. The rappers were no-shows, but Henley demanded the money anyway.
Henley reportedly said there were “going to be 5,000 Six-O’s in this muthaf*cker that’s going to be pulling up, and if we got to tear that muthaf*cker up, we going to tear it up. So be ready for that, be ready for that. Bring me my money!”
When the rappers didn’t show up, Henley and his associates took the promoter into a backroom in the club where they were paid $30,000.

In another incident described in the indictment, a professional boxer [A.B.] hosted a dice game for visiting NBA players.
According to a cooperating witness, A.B. and his associates fixed the dice game and cheated the NBA players out of millions of dollars using “teased” dice.
Following that game, Henley directed a group of Big U Enterprise associates to “rough up” A.B., who did not “check in” with Henley, and to get the money back from him on behalf of the NBA players.
Multiple persons involved in the incident who were interviewed by the feds, including former NBA players, confirmed that Henley was paid $100,000 for negotiating the return of the “debt”.
In another 2022 incident, NBA players “got into it” with boxer A.B. after A.B. cheated a current NBA All-Star out of $1.5 million and a former NBA All-Star out of $5 million.
Henley charged the NBA players $100,000 to get their money back from A.B.
The current and former NBA All-Star players were identified online as Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors and retired NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
Update: Henley went live this evening saying he’s on his way to turn himself in to the feds.
“Y’all don’t understand what the FBI do to Black men who try to help they community.” he said. “I ain’t been nothing but a help to the Black community… But I’m gonna go turn myself in… ’cause I ain’t did nothing.”

Crips gang members are accused of operating a drug-trafficking ring that distributed large amounts of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and prescription Adderall, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Agents served more than a dozen search warrants on Tuesday morning across Southern California and Virginia in a drug sting operation that included IRS agents.
Federal prosecutors in San Diego said more than 150 law enforcement agents took down doors and raided homes on Tuesday as part of a drug sting dubbed “Operation Draw Down.”
19 defendants have been indicted on federal charges in U.S. District Court in San Diego.

Family members say Big U flew Williams from California to Las Vegas and put him up in an AirBnB to record tracks in January 2021.
However, Williams failed to show up at a Las Vegas recording studio for several days.
When Big U drove to the AirBnB on January 23, 2021 to confront Williams, the younger man claimed he didn’t have a ride to the studio.
Big U drove Williams to the studio on Jan. 24, 2021 and both men went inside. They stayed until after midnight. Big U then drove Williams back to the AirBnB around 2 a.m.
Williams went inside the house and returned to the car with his suitcase. His body was found in a ditch about 9 a.m. that same morning.
Sources say Williams was killed with a gunshot to the face because he dissed Big U in a rap song he recorded 5 days before his murder.
In the rap song, Williams referred to Big U as the “bro that makes some money,” and that he himself might get shot in the face “for thinkin’ shit funny.”
It’s unclear whether Big U had heard the diss lyrics prior to the killing, according to the indictment.
Big U is also believed to have ordered the murder of West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was fatally shot on March 31, 2019.

Karla Mosley, star of daytime soap opera “Beyond the Gates,” recently revealed she is “queer.”
Karla (left) is pictured with BTG co-star Daphnée Duplaix at The Black Excellence Brunch in February in Atlanta.
In 2024, Karla joined the cast of Beyond the Gates as Dani Dupree. She quickly became a fan favorite on the show. But Karla is making waves in her personal life by coming out of the closet!
Recently, Karla spoke with People magazine to explain why she walked away from her role as a transgender on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Karla played the character Maya on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2019. Maya came out as transgender, which Karla said she hesitated to do initially.
Instagram
Karla, 43, decided to play the role of a trans so their story could be heard. She told herself, “‘If you don’t accept this story, this story won’t be told.'”
“When my boss asked me if I would do this story, I first was going to say no because it felt inappropriate for me to play that role as a cis woman. I do identify as queer, but I’m not transgender,” she said.
The mom-of-one eventually walked away from the role because she is not transgender in real life.
Transgender actors have been critical of the movie and TV industry for the lack of roles available to them.
“I am so grateful for that character because people who loved Maya and then had issues with what she said had to ask themselves like, even with a family member, ‘Well, if I loved her yesterday, why don’t I love her today?’ I actually had to grapple with that question, and I had so much feedback around healing that was able to happen within families and communities because of that storyline,” Karla explained.

Karla was previously married to NYC lawyer, Jeremiah Frei-Pearson. On August 17, 2018, she gave birth to her first child, with her friend John Rogers.
According to insiders Karla, a Virgo, is currently single, but she has enjoyed past relationships with both men and women. She keeps her personal life private.
She posts personal home videos on her Instagram Stories. Her daughter is heard in the background of the video below.
Kanye West (right) went too far when he targeted Jay-Z And Beyonce’s innocent children in a series of posts on X (Twitter) on Tuesday.
Kanye, who legally changed his name to “Ye” West, suggested that Jay-Z And Beyonce’s 7-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi, are special needs. He used a derogatory term to describe the children.

“Wait has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyonce’s younger kids they’re ret*rded,” he wrote. “No like literally. This is why artificial insemanation [sic] is such a blessing. Having ret*rded children is a choice.”
In a follow-up post, Kanye tweeted in all caps: “NOW JAY-Z AND BEYONCÉ ON THE OTHER END. F*CK, THOSE KOON A*S N*GGAS AND THEIR ENTIRE FAMILIES.”
His deleted tweets triggered angry reactions from fellow rappers and the public. Multiple rappers unfollowed Ye on X.
Ye responded, writing, “Yeah these fa**ot as* rap ni**as get no passes anymore. You ain’t have to unfollow me to make your point. You ain’t even have to make a point you slave.”
Ye has spent years harassing Jay-Z, whom he calls his “big brother.”
In a 2022 interview with Candace Owens, Kanye said, “I just think Beyoncé need to let him go get some p**sy, serious. “Go to the [Dominican Republic] or something, you know what I mean?”
In a viral video recorded during a concert in 2016, Ye feared Jay-Z would send “shooters” to kill him. “It’s a new world Jay-Z. Hey, don’t send killers at my head, bro,” he pleaded.
Ye was hospitalized in a California psych ward following his rant during the Saint Pablo Tour in 2016. He was blacklisted in the music industry after a series of antisemetic posts on X and Instagram.
Frail NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore returned to Earth on Tuesday, after spending 9 harrowing months stranded in space.
Shocking before-and-after images show the effects of prolonged low-gravity on 59-year-old Williams who was stuck in space for 9 months.

The photos show the stark difference in Williams’ age when she piloted the Boeing Starliner into space on June 5, 2024 and when she returned on Tuesday, March 18.

Williams and Wilmore were rescued after SpaceX founder Elon Musk sent a Dragon capsule to dock with the International Space Station (ISS) and bring the 2 stranded astronauts back home.
After 17 hours of flight, Williams, Wilmore and 2 astronaut escorts splashed down off the coast of Tallahassee, Florida just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
NASA aired live footage of the capsule splashdown, which was viewed by millions at home.
After a crane lifted the capsule on board a boat, a SpaceX medical team and engineers removed the exhausted astronauts from the tiny capsule.

Williams and Wilmore lost muscle mass while stranded in space for 9 months. They also lost the ability to walk and will receive physical rehabilitation for 6 weeks to learn how to walk again.
According to reports, Musk offered to send a Dragon crew to rescue the stranded astronauts back in September. But the Biden administration refused because they didn’t want then-candidate Donald Trump to get credit for bringing them back.
Effects of Prolonged Low-Gravity and Radiation On the Human Body
In addition to muscle and bone loss, Williams and Wilmore also lost their sense of smell and taste due to pressure in the sinuses, and increased fluid retained in their brains due to loss of gravity.
The astronauts also face risk of blood clots after landing back on Earth.
Since low gravity causes body fluids to migrate upwards to the brain, they risk heart problems since the cardiovascular system now has to work harder to pump the blood around the body.
Low gravity and radiation also wreaks havoc on the hair and skin – as evidenced by the photos of Sunita Williams.
NASA has a specialized rehabilitation program to help astronauts returning from space. Williams and Wilmore are required to complete a 45-day rehabilitation program that includes exercising for two hours a day, seven days a week to learn how to walk again.
A Georgia firefighter was fired after police arrested him for sharing photos of twin brothers found dead on a mountain in Hiawassee, Georgia on March 8.
Atlanta NBC affiliate WXIA 11Alive reports that Scott Kerlin was fired from the Towns County Fire Department on March 14 for violating department protocol.
Kerlin, 42, is charged with misdemeanor obstruction for taking photos of the death scene and sharing the images on social media.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced his arrest on Tuesday.
The firefighter did not respond to USA TODAY‘s attempts to contact him on Tuesday.

19-year-old twins Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis were found shot to death on top of Bell Mountain, a scenic tourist attraction less than 90 miles from their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Hikers found their bodies around 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 8. The GBI said preliminary findings indicate the brothers died by murder-suicide.
A gun was found near the bodies and tested for fingerprints. The bodies were sent to the GBI lab and autopsies were completed. The GBI has not released the results of gunshot residue tests on the brothers’ hands.
The brothers were scheduled to fly to Boston 24 hours earlier to visit with friends, but they never made their flight.
The GBI will review surveillance video from the airport to determine if they arrived or who they may have left the airport with.
The family refuses to accept the murder-suicide theory.

“I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before,” their uncle, Rahim Brawner, told KSDK-TV.
“How did they end up out in the mountains? They don’t hike out there, they’ve never been out there,” Brawner said to KSDK. “They don’t know anything about Hiawassee, Georgia. They never even heard of Bell Mountain, so how did they end up right there?”
Bell Mountain is located in rural Towns County, near the North Carolina border, an hour-and-a-half drive from Atlanta.
Lawrenceville, where the brothers lived, is located about 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
Actors Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in their living room at their home in Los Angeles.
Just two guests were present for the nuptials on Tuesday morning, sources told Entertainment Tonight.
The news comes after Rolling Stone magazine leaked audio of Jonathan admitting he strangled his ex-girlfriend in an incident in 2022 – a year before his arrest in Manhattan.
Jonathan, 35, was arrested on March 25, 2023 and charged with assaulting and strangling his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
The audio leaked while Jonathan was in the middle of promoting his new movie Magazine Dreams about a socially awkward bodybuilder who is sexually objectified by men.
Speaking to ET in a press junket earlier, Jonathan said: “Just my girl man! She’s just my best friend – my wife,” before quickly adding: “My fiancée!”

Meagan’s fans were surprised to find out they were dating so soon after his arrest. They wondered if she was the other woman who triggered the fight between Jonathan and his ex that resulted in his arrest.
In the leaked audio, Jonathan tells Grace, “I’m ashamed, I’ve never gone and… I never wrestled with a woman before. I never aggressed a woman – I aggressed you.”
Grace told him, “You strangled me and tried to push me against the car.”
“Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah,” said Jonathan.
“Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?” Grace asked him.
“Well clearly, it’s more than that,” Jonathan says.

“Something inside of you,” Grace says.
“Yeah, towards you,” he agrees, before the recording ends.
Jonathan’s fans expressed anger over the timing of the audio’s release on X (Twitter).
One fan wrote: “Notice how the ‘unearthed audio of Jonathan Majors admitting to strangling Grace Jabbari’ suddenly comes out when he’s doing press for Magazine Dreams and trying to move on with his life and not during 2023 when he lost everything.”

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) charged a 42-year-old volunteer firefighter with sharing photos of Qaadir and Naazir Lewis’ dead bodies.
Scott Kerlin was charged with misdemeanor obstruction after taking photos of the twins’ “death scene” and sharing the images publicly, authorities said on Tuesday.
Hikers found the bodies of the 19-year-old twins on top of Bell Mountain, a scenic tourist attraction in rural Hiawassee, Georgia. The brothers were shot to death.
GoFundMe
Their bodies were discovered on March 8 – a day after they were scheduled to fly to Boston to visit friends.
The twins’ plane tickets were found in their wallets. The GBI is investigating whether the brothers made it to the airport for their 7 a.m. flight on March 7.
“The preliminary investigation reveals the deaths to be a murder suicide,” the GBI said. Authorities noted that autopsies are completed and reports are still pending. “The death investigation is active & ongoing.”
A gun was found near the bodies, according to first responders. The gun was dusted for fingerprints.
The twins’ bodies were sent to the GBI lab where autopsies were conducted. Their hands were tested for gunshot residue, but the GBI won’t say which brother fired the gun.
GoFundMe
In an interview with Atlanta NBC affiliate WXIA, the brothers’ family rejected the GBI’s murder-suicide theory.
“We knew right away that wasn’t true,” the twins’ aunt, Samira Brawner, said.
She added, “We want answers, we want to know exactly what happened to the twins.”
The twins’ uncle, Rahim Brawner, said Qaadir and Naazir were “very protective of each other.”
“They love each other,” he said. “They’re like inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”
A GoFundMe page created by Brawner raised over $30,000 for funeral expenses.

The first leg of the tour begins May 9 in Las Vegas and ends June 1 in Indianapolis, with stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and Nashville, among other cities, in between.
A second leg is expected to be announced this summer.
